Kind of craving something darker in theme, maybe power dynamics or an underground world type of thing? Someone with power in some kind of unsavory way takes a liking to some generic person not involved with any of it vibes. Examples like... a mob boss/supernatural/supervillian taking a liking to a normie and... inevitably gets them kidnapped or involved with merchandise deals gone wrong/hides their true nature until a climatic moment and tries to explain they'd like to change for them/is involved with a plan against the superheroes and gets used as bait or something so the Reveal occurs and the villain has to save their own hostage from the heroes?
