Maybe he could ask someone if they had a walkman or something he could borrow, but he would ask about that later. For now, the silence was overwhelming. He was so use to having Emily in the kitchen with him, or the radio playing, that the silence bugged him. Sure, there was the sounds of nature out there, but silence was always something that bugged Marco. He looked up as he heard Em and smiled a bit. "Really? All I have to do is cook nice food and he'll get me nice stuff off the books? Sounds like a sweet deal to me. If he gets me some good steaks and some decent seafood I can do some good surf and turf for all of us one night. You know how good my shrimp can be. Also maybe some fresh veggies just for the week? All they have for the campers is frozen stuff." Marco brightened up at the idea of having access to some nicer food for the whole week they had before anyone else arrived. "Have fun with Nancy and if you see anything interesting, remember it to show me later, okay? I'll ring the bell in a bit!" Marco blew Emily a kiss back and melted a bit. That woman was really one of the best damn things in his life, and he didn't know what he would do without her. He turned back to the flattop and started it up and then checked on the quiches. They were coming along well, so it was probably time to start up the toast and bacon. Eggs would be quick, compared to everything else. "Alright then... lets get to frying."
