As Tsubomi tried to think of a way to take attention off herself, the other girl seemed to respect her time enough to stay silent as well. At least for a little bit. Then the girl mentioned having helped with something, but Tsubomi couldn't place the girl or what she, or most likely Zassou, had done for her. A Magical Girl, then? Maybe not. She could have just been not paying attention when it happened.

As she followed along, she couldn't help but notice the weird way some of the other girls followed them. [color=0072bc][i]Don't suppose she's from Hamelin... Are these her friends?[/i][/color] The thought was quickly dropped when Michi asked for clarification. Geez, another one?

[color=0072bc]"Not in such a literal sense. I got bowled over by someone running through the hall. Didn't even get the chance to see who-"[/color]

Tsubomi's words were cut short by an impact with yet another black-haired female student. This one actually acknowledged her, at least. 

[color=0072bc]"Got it in one, good job. Glad to know the bags under your eyes aren't messing up your vision."[/color] 

A rather sardonic first thing to say to someone, but at least it didn't have to be filtered through Zassou to be said. To Tsubomi, that made it more real, more soulful, even if it was mocking. Though that realization dragged another thought in by its hair: [color=0072bc][i]This girl isn't her. She's trying to help, and on meeting her [b]that's[/b] the first thing I say? What's wrong with me?[/i][/color] 

Tsubomi gave an obviously fake cough in a futile attempt to recover her senses and distract from what she'd said.

[color=0072bc]"A-anyway, there's no need to apologize. I wasn't paying enough attention."[/color] She didn't think it wise to say what had been distracting her, when the subject of the statement was right next to her. 

Besides, she already knew she was being meaner than she should from her time in her own head, so the suspicion she was feeling had to be from that too, right?
