Jules is a loyal and hardworking individual. An independent, honest and stubborn nature means that the whole world is subject to hearing her opinions. Jules is an overall carefree person who is always in search of her next adrenaline fix, and will happily drag along anyone she can convince. Jules has been called a ‘menace to society’ on more than a few occasions (most often after her tangents about overthrowing the US government). She’s a wild soul; a barefoot, cursing, tree climbing, thrill seeker with a middle finger for any authority figure. Jules considers herself a vengeful vigilante, often taking matters of justice into her own hands. She’s a creative girl with a strong wit, and a big heart. Crystal gave birth to Jules at eighteen, and hasn't stopped spitting out kids since. She's always tried to treat Jules more like a best friend than a child - which is funny because Jules has never cared for her mother. Crystal has always received welfare benefits. With each child, the monthly benefits increased. The money hard ever goes to the household or the kids, except for the times that Crystal is so passed out from drug use, the kids can 'steal' the food stamp card or any spare cash. [*]Jules never had the chance to be a child. From the moment she can remember gaining consciousness, she's been an adult; taking care of her siblings through odd jobs like babysitting until she was old enough to work somewhere official. CPS was called out more often than not, but nothing was ever done. There was food in the cabinets, and Jules always made sure the house was as clean as it could be with such a large family living in it. She could have stopped helping and let CPS take her siblings away - but then she wouldn't be able to make sure they were okay. Sure, they would have had the potential shot at a better life, but at least with Jules they were [i]safe[/i]. She couldn't guarantee that if any of [i]her[/i] kids went into the system. Sometimes though, when the night gets late, Jules catches herself wondering what sort of lives they'd all would be living if she had given in.
