Oh! Hello! Nice to meet you all. I am Duck-Billed O'Malley, former lead singer of the animatronic band at Duck-Billed O'Malley's Pizzeria and Bowling Alley. I was created by the late great Scott Williams. An unparalleled master of magic, technology, pizza, and bowling... May he rest in peace... By my internal chronometer's reckonin', I am nearly thirty nine years old now. I was first brought online on the 13th of March in the year 1987. Though I did stop walkin' the earth for a bit back in 2020, when me and the rest of the band were taken offline after Covid forced the bowling alley to close. In that time, a lack of business shut the alley down after Scott himself died from the Covid, leavin' me and mine gathering dust in the old place's abandoned, empty husk for the better part of six long years... But now I'm back, baby! Scott's grandson, Joseph Williams, was able to sneak into the alley and bring me back online. When last I laid eyes on the lad, he was a cute little four year old who wanted nothin' more than to play. Now he's a cute little nine year old who wants nothin' more than to find his mother, who went missin' while investigatin' an old abandoned amusement park that closed down around the same time as we did.

The 26 animatronics at Duck-Billed O'Malley's Pizzeria and Bowling Alley could be divided into five groups of five (with a remainder of one). Each of these groups corresponded to one of the five areas in and around the alley that used animatronics.

[h3][u][b]The Main Stage[/b][/u][/h3]The main stage was located at just the right spot in the bowling alley so that everyone could always have a good view of the stage from any spot of the alley that wasn't the backrooms, the lake, or the parking lot. The main stage featured musical performances from Duck-Billed O'Malley and his band every hour on the hour. These performances would typically last 15 minutes each. After which, the band would come down from the stage to mingle with the alley's patrons for half an hour, before retiring backstage for maintenance before the next show.

On top of being the face of the entire establishment, [b]Duck-Billed O'Malley[/b] served as the lead singer of his band when performing on the main stage. After closing time, O'Malley and four other animatronics would occasionally join Scott Williams on a nighttime outing if rumors of monster activity near the bowling alley reached Scott's ears. During these outings, they would determine the truth of these rumors and act to end any threat posed by these monsters if the rumors were true. They would do so peacefully if possible, but would resort to violence if the monster in question was unreasonable enough to make it necessary. O'Malley has the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Henry McDevitt, a brutal Irish gangster who vanished without a trace in the mid 1980s.

[b]Timber Everett[/b] was a timber wolf animatronic who served as the band's lead guitarist while performing on the main stage. After closing time, he served as night security for the main stage. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Xavier Conn, an American music producer and plagiarist from the state of New York who vanished without a trace in the mid 1980s.

[b]Marsican Xavian[/b] was a marsican bear animatronic who served as the band's bass guitarist while performing on the main stage. After closing time, he served as night security and patrolled the parking lot. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Quirino Valenti, an Italian concert promoter and embezzler who vanished without a trace in the mid 1980s.

[b]Xenicus Isaacs[/b] was a xenicus wren animatronic who served mainly as the band's keyboard player, but also picked up other tech-based musical instruments over the years. After closing time, he and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Blake Gibson, a corporate saboteur from New Zealand who vanished without a trace in the mid 1980s.

[b]Welsh Howells[/b] was a Welsh corgi animatronic who served as the band's drummer while performing on the main stage. After closing time, she would serve as backup to Scott if he was going on one of his outings that night. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Arwen Fleet, a Welsh anarchist who vanished without a trace in the mid 1980s.

[h3][u][b]The Backrooms[/b][/u][/h3]The backrooms were the name collectively given to any room in the bowling alley that only staff were allowed into. When the alley first opened, the bowling lane technicians had an animatronic assistant to help them out and keep their spirits up. In the early 1990s, Scott began introducing animatronic assistants to other sectors of the backrooms to reward the good work of the employees assigned to those sectors. An additional four animatronics had joined the first one by the time 2020 rolled around.

[b]Patterdale Abernathy[/b] was a Patterdale terrier animatronic who served as a technician in the backrooms behind the bowling lanes. After closing time, he would serve as backup to Scott if he was going on one of his outings that night. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Tobias Yarding, the dangerously negligent owner of the bowling alley prior to Scott Williams, until he vanished without a trace in the mid 1980s.

[b]Redback Cleary[/b] was a redback spider animatronic who was brought in during the early 1990s keep a constant watch over the camera feed in the security room. Unlike most of the other animatronics, Cleary had an anatomically correct appearance rather than a humanoid figure, so she actually looked like a real life spider (albeit with some cartoonish alterations here and there, and she was also the size of a person). After closing time, she would serve as the leader of a counter intelligence operation created by Scott to ensure the wider public remained unaware of the supernatural. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Vera Amesbury, an Australian blackmailer who vanished without a trace in the late 1980s

[b]Juniper Usmonova[/b] was a juniper vole animatronic who was brought in during the mid 1990s to assist and boost the morale of the bowling alley's janitorial staff. After closing time, she would serve as an agent of Redback Cleary's counter intelligence operation. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Nasiba Salimova, a Tajikistani crime scene cleaner who vanished without a trace in the early 1990s.

[b]Yellow-Eyed Johansen[/b] was a yellow-eyed penguin animatronic who was brought in during the late 1990s to assist and boost the morale of the bowling alley's wait staff. After closing time, he served as the dispatcher for the blowing alley's nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Oscar Turner, a corrupt American bureaucrat from Kentucky who vanished without a trace in the mid 1990s.

[b]Orpington Zimmerman[/b] was an Orpington chicken animatronic who was brought in during the late 1990s to assist and boost the morale of the bowling alley's kitchen staff. After closing time, he served as night security for the backrooms. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Simon Xenophon, an unscrupulous British chef who vanished without a trace in the mid 1990s.

[h3][u][b]The Games Area[/b][/u][/h3]The games area started off in '87 as simply the bowling lanes themselves and a small arcade off to the side. It then slowly but surely grew in the years that followed, gaining five animatronics along the way.

[b]Bengal Mistri[/b] was a Bengal tiger animatronic who was brought in during the early 1990s to oversee the games area's puzzle games. After closing time, she worked as a private investigator for people in the know regarding the supernatural. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Fatima Kanjilal, an evidence falsifier from India who vanished without a trace in the late 1980s

[b]Cotton-Top Novoa[/b] was a cotton-top tamarin animatronic who was brought in during the early 1990s to oversee the games area's jungle gym. After closing time, he would serve as an agent of Redback Cleary's counter intelligence operation. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Gustavo Ladino, a North Columbian hitman who vanished without a trace in the late 1980s.

[b]Entlebucher Peachey[/b] was an Entlebucher mountain dog animatronic who was brought in during the early 1990s to help with children who got lost at the bowling alley. After closing time, she would serve as backup to Scott if he was going on one of his outings that night. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Ingrid Nestler, a Swiss kidnapper who vanished without a trace in the late 1980s.

[b]Quaker Bezerra[/b] was a quaker parrot animatronic who was brought in during the mid 1990s to oversee the karaoke booths that were added to the bowling alley alongside her. After closing time, she and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Ursina Zinelli, a Brazilian criminal PR specialist who vanished without a trace in the early 1990s.

[b]Sultan Demir[/b] was a sultan chicken animatronic who was brought in during the late 1990s as a magician and fortune teller sideshow. After closing time, he served as night security for the games area. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Welat Bozkurt, a Turkish crime boss who vanished without a trace in the mid 1990s.

[h3][u][b]The Front Desk[/b][/u][/h3]The front desk was something of an odd one out among the areas of the bowling alley that used animatronics. Because while all the other areas had several, the front desk only had one.

[b]Newfoundland Yarborough[/b] was a Newfoundland dog animatronic who was brought in during the mid 1990s to work the front desk as a receptionist. After closing time, he would serve as backup to Scott if he was going on one of his outings that night. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Robert Walker, a corrupt Canadian landlord who vanished without a trace in the early 1990s

[h3][u][b]The Parking Lot[/b][/u][/h3]In the early 1990s, the bowling alley had become popular enough to draw in visitors from not just across the city, but from beyond it too. As a result, the demand for parking space began to grow beyond the ability of the human parking attendants to manage effectively. And so Scott did what he always did in times like these: He built more animatronics to help ease the burden and raise morale. It started with two animatronics in the early 1990s, then two more were added in the mid 1990s, and then one last animatronic was rolled out on the tail end of the decade.

[b]Ivory Tassiter[/b] was an ivory gull animatronic who was rolled out during the the early 1990s to serve as a parking warden. After closing time, he and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Marcus Roberts, an illegal waste dumper from Britain who vanished without a trace in the late 1980s.

[b]Kentucky Vance[/b] was a Kentucky warbler animatronic who was rolled out during the the early 1990s to serve as a greeter. After closing time, he and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Oscar Turner, a corrupt American bureaucrat from Kentucky who vanished without a trace in the late 1980s.

[b]Unicolored Fonseca[/b] was a unicolored jay animatronic who was rolled out during the the mid 1990s to serve as a greeter. After closing time, she and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Yulianna Delgado, a Mexican con artist who vanished without a trace in the early 1990s.

[b]Zone-Tailed Keller[/b] was a zone-tailed hawk animatronic who was rolled out during the the mid 1990s to serve as a parking warden. After closing time, she and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. She had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Delilah Ives, an American logistics saboteur from Texas who vanished without a trace in the early 1990s.

[b]Vermilion Groves[/b] was a vermilion flycatcher animatronic who was rolled out during the the late 1990s to serve as a greeter. After closing time, he and all the other bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Zayden Ellison, an American cult recruiter from Colorado who vanished without a trace in the mid 1990s.

[h3][u][b]The Lake Show[/b][/u][/h3]A private lake next to the alley had been a part of the property long before it came into Scott's possession. He'd had plans of creating some kind of aquatic animatronic show there from the very beginning, but it wasn't until the early 2000s that he devised the means to create water resistant animatronics. The lake show featured five animatronics and was an hourly event, each show taking place at the thirty minute mark of each hour and lasting about 15 minutes. There was music during the first five minutes, an encounter with the lake show's antagonist during the middle five minutes, and a storytelling during the last five minutes. After that, boat rides and interaction with the animatronics would be available to customers for half an hour, after which point the animatronics would retreat for maintenance before the next show.

[b]Admiral Lapworth[/b] was an admiral butterfly animatronic who served as the lake show's boat captain, fife player, and master of ceremonies. After closing time, he and the bird animatronics served as a nighttime flying courier and pizza delivery service. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Edward Jols, a shipping fraudster who vanished without a trace in the late 1990s.

[b]Fiddler Quinn[/b] was a fiddler crab animatronic who served as the lake show's fiddle player and the lake boat's first mate. After closing time, he served as night security for the lake. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Johnny Olsen, an American cult leader from Florida who vanished without a trace in the late 1990s.

[b]Great White Rowe[/b] was a great white shark animatronic who served as the lake show's antagonist. Unlike most of the other animatronics, Rowe had an anatomically correct appearance rather than a humanoid figure, so he actually looked like a real life shark (albeit with some cartoonish alterations here and there). After closing time, he served as an escort to Humpback Simard during nautical expeditions. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Kenny Parker, a corrupt Australian police chief who vanished without a trace in the late 1990s.

[b]Humpback Simard[/b] was a humpback whale animatronic who emerged at the end of every confrontation with Great White Rowe to frighten the animatronic shark back into the depths. Unlike most of the other animatronics, Simard had an anatomically correct appearance rather than a humanoid figure, so he actually looked like a real life whale (albeit with some cartoonish alterations here and there). After closing time, he occasionally served as a submarine whenever Scott needed to take a trip somewhere that was underwater. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Lionel Quétier, a French human trafficker who vanished without a trace in the late 1990s.

[b]Leatherback Whitaker[/b] was a leatherback turtle animatronic who served as the lake show's concertina player and story teller. After closing time, he served as a radio show host on a radio station that only people in the know about the supernatural can access. He had the voice, speech patterns, and mannerisms of Patrick Upland, a corrupt attorney general of Alaska who vanished without a trace in the late 1990s
