Also want to add perhaps a soul mate sort of Rp? I know it can be overdone but I figured we can discuss some ideas. Im mainly leaning towards something like the Fallen series by Lauren Kate? One of them has constantly been searching for the other, always finding them but always too late to make them realize who they are. This time when they find each other, it could very well be the last time.  No resurrection for their soul to be found in another time.
