The army promised things like that for kids like him. They didn't tell him about the bonus PTSD though. He signed with the army straight out of high school. [*]Cliff retired from the army at the age of 30, and used what money he had saved up to move to Pines Holler. While part of him knew he should move back home, the other half knew that he would never continue to succeed as a person if he did. Cliff found an abandoned building on one of the corners of Pines Holler main street and turned it into his automotive shop after a long year of steady work and dedication. He has now been running Jennings Automotive for almost six years. [*]He now lives in the Shady Pines Trailer Park, helping his neighbors fix their appliances and cars when needed. Cliff has learned that there's more to life than what meets the eye, and enjoys the peaceful life that he and his dogs share.
