That was exactly the response she was looking for, but the target was entirely misaligned. Shooting at her quarry, when it wasn't even in range, and winging an innocent bystander was unacceptable. Then came the tired girl's revelation.

She almost continued, but having other presumably non-magical girls around made her hesitate. If nothing else, weird rumors would be problematic, so she'd have to hold off on any mention of her pseudo-hominid copy.
