The events of the night played through her mind. Everything that could go wrong did. They were lucky to have escaped with their lives. Though she had been informed by her crow on the way home that not everyone had been so lucky. Kenzo had been killed in the Battle of Daikuku Shrine and Ryunosuke had been captured by the demons. She wasn't going to pretend like she genuinely cared for the latter, but this was a heavy blow to their forces. He had the Mark and was a practitioner of Sun Breathing. With the demons now having their hands on the Blue Spider Lily they needed someone like him. But that was a worry for another day. She didn't want to bring today's troubles home. Not to... The door opened in front of her to reveal a young girl with a blindfold around her eyes standing in the doorway. She wasn't blind however. This was a training game she and Himari played to strengthen her other senses. "Mommy!" The little raven haired girl called out before wrapping her arms around Himari's legs to hug her. "I smelled you outside and waited for you to open the door but you took too long." Himari knelt down and hugged her little angel back. "I'm sorry, my little Hana. Mommy had to collect her thoughts. I missed you, baby girl." "I'm not a baby anymore!" Hanahi retorted. "That's right. You're growing so big. Soon you'll be taller than mommy. Come on, let's go inside."

Present Day - Hashira Meeting
Himari spent the past two weeks training nonstop. Not just herself, but little Hana as well. Things were changing quickly and they both needed to be prepared. She went easy on Hana's training and gave her breaks because she was still a developing child. It didn't matter that she was a demon. Even with her accelerated aging she was nowhere near full development. Whenever Hana took a break to sleep, eat, or play Himari stopped holding back on her own training. She applied Soryu to Moon Breathing. She wondered if in doing so she could turn it into something almost indistinguishable from Sun Breathing. With Ryu indisposed the Corps needed someone that could use it. She was worried that this kind of training would cause her to awaken her Mark, but she stopped letting that fear hold her back. She couldn't be afraid of death when demons were now more powerful and influential than ever. And if she were honest she didn't believe that she could kill Michikitsu without it. When Himari received the summons for a Hashira meeting she almost refused it. The last time they were gathered for a meeting led to a bunch of bullshit. But she knew that if she didn't go and things went out of control they'd need her there. So she reluctantly went. Himari took the letter from Kairi and read it. She was in charge and working with Muragarasu and Jae-eun, probably because she was one of the only ones who didn't act an ass at the Onsen and try and get into unnecessary fights on demon property. She was just glad she had the chance to rebuild the relations that was almost completely severed in just one night. She turned to look at Kousai when he asked who his teacher in Sun Breathing would be. She hesitated, thinking about their argument a week ago. She shook her head and answered. "Probably me. I've been working to recreate Sun Breathing by mixing Moon Breathing with Soryu." Her attention was then drawn to their client who introduced herself as Gin. "So, Gin... You're our client. What exactly is the mission?"
