Despite it being filled with newcomers and a few regulars, it was (so far) filled with an atmosphere of joy. It wasn't always set in this nature, but it is nice to enjoy it while lasts. The Band was together playing a medium paced melody throughout the first floor, with some dances taking the floor. Conversations muffled in between the shifts in the instruments, and laughter was in abundance. If you sat closely enough, you could hear the same upbeat voices in the kitchen as they carried out orders with a playful sense of urgency. The bartender for tonight that they had in rotation for the week was busy, but not overwhelmed, chatting his customers or providing them the service and silence they may require. However tonight was, again as Liam was thinking, so far where strangers and the like were getting along. Despite best efforts and the easy going day that it was, Liam unfortunately bore dark circles in his eyes. He took refuge at one of the booths in the corner. It was his duty, as it had been for years, to have the responsibility of this place kept for what it has always been. A "Sweden" as they would say on a very distant planet named Earth, or a neutral zone. Not that occurrences, differences, and altercations didn't happen often, but there was a sense of order and security in the establishment for how it has been run. Will continue to strive for as it's standards, as it has always been. Blue Sun Oasis has a reputation to uphold. This was in big thanks due to Rook who took Liam's need in any such case on how to proceed accordingly, only when things were leading to a catastrophic escalation or owner took need to step in. Rook had such a need and love to serve justice - with his fists and anything he deemed appropriately to fit the situation. Sometimes, for shits and giggles, Liam would join in on the scheme. Since this was such a unique establishment, it was a case by case scenario. A glass of water had formed a condensation ring on the napkin under his drink, and while he was aware of his surroundings from his peripheral vision, his gaze for the most part kept fixed on the bare table in front of him. From time to time, Dolly Mae would send out someone to check on him, especially at times since often he found his stomach grumbling before he actually found an appetite. "I expect, soon, she or someone else will drop a plate off here," he muttered outload, but a small smile formed on his lips.
