"To be honest," she added for everyone on the bridge to here, "I'd rather be anywhere but here at this point.  I don't think those bugs can do a jump across the void of space and burrow into our hull... but I'd rather not take the chance.  Uurgh... they must have been breeding in the station for weeks."
