Pine martens and coyotes are common threats, as well as rats.

[/b]Most AshClan cats are dark colored, with slim builds for stalking.
[b]Roles:

[/b]AshClan has the same roles, but their warrior class is split into three groups-
Tracker- the most low level role
Stalker- intermediate
Captain- expert

[b]Traditions[/b]
1. The Ash Night- a night of solitude when a warrior is killed in battle. They dust the clan in ash and dead flower petals
2. Will of the Ways- a test given to apprentices- to sneak into rival territory unseen.

[b]Territory:

[/b]Thick woodland eith lots of undergrowth and some sandy areas.
[b]Prey and Predators:

[/b]Common prey are birds, squirrels ans eagles. Common predators are foxes, and badgers. There is also an area on their territory with snakes nesting.
[b]Appearance:

[/b]These cats tend to be heavyset, with thick fur. Common pelt colors are deep browns and creams.
[b]Roles:

[/b]They also have subcategories for the roles-
Strike- Hunters
Eyes- Scouts
Claws- Bodyguards, fighters, carpenters
[b]Traditions[/b]

1. The Morning Rise- every morning, cats who are up earliest rise on a dawn patrol for sharing tongues and watching the sky break.
2. First Prey- the first prey of the season is shared betweenthe entire clan.

[b]Territory Description:

[/b]An island sureounded by rivers, large streams and bridges allow them to navigate their territory, though they are outstanding swimmers.
[b]Prey and Predators:
[/b]

Mostly fish, though the ocassional seagull, water vole, or newt is not uncommon. Predators in the area are mostly poisonous water animals and wolves.
[b]Appearance[/b]:

Generally long fur, often light tones like cream. Naturally water resistant, their paws can be slightly webbed.
[b]Roles:
[/b]

ShoreWatchers- they watch the waters- scouts
RippleGuards- they manage the otherclan borders
Hunters of the Wave- hunters
[b]Traditions:
[/b]

1. The Shore Blessing- a ceremony to welcome new kits to the clan involving floating them towards the nursery by stream.
2. The Fin- a swimming test for apprentices

Open moors with lots of caves and dens deep underground.
Prey and Predators:

Hares and Rabbits, and large eagles. Badgers and hawks are volatile predators.

Short furred and small, these cats have long legs made for running and long tails for balance.
[b]Roles:
[/b]

Runner- prey hunters
Chaser- border patrols
Watcher- scouting
[b]Traditions:
[/b]

1. The Vows- three vows, one to yourself, one to a ClanMate, and one to the leader.
2. They Gathered Song- a celebration of life where cats stell stories about the deceased all at the same time.
