Has hands outreached towards the sky as he slowly took a few tentative steps forward. His orange eyes had swept the room and focused on the four that had responded to him. He recognized two of them. The old man who ran this place. He instinctively knew his name to be Ken. A new face stood beside Ken. Glancing him up and down his eyes caught a small glimpse of the shine of the badge on his belt and he spoke with an authority that seemed to back his guess. A cop? He didn't even need to focus on Julia. He could sense her frustration from here and rightly so. A small sigh escaped his lips. "It is a long story to each of your questions." Noticing a small table within arm's reach, he tilted his head towards it indicting his intentions. "I am not ignoring you officer. Just wishing to put myself in a more vulnerable position to show I mean no harm." With his arms still in the air, he used his foot to hook a chair leg and pull it to the table as he sat down and allowed his hands to slowly rest on the table. The Weeping looked at Ken first his expression was searching but for what one couldn't tell, and he didn't speak for a few seconds as if pondering his words. "I am called The Weeping. I..." His words faltered as a sad smirk crossed his face. "I am vengeance." He slowly rubbed his forehead. It sounded foolish to him. How was it supposed to sound any better to them? His hand dropped back to the table as his focus sharpened as he thought of a better angle to explain. "This city is a cesspool of corruption. So many gangs running amok. So many people going missing. So much death." He slowly gestured to himself. "I am the remedy. I do not fully know my origins. I merely came to be several weeks ago in the La'moi swamps." His eyes moved towards Julia. "Upon leaving the swamp I discovered a rundown forgotten section of Night haven run by a small-time gang lord known as Fat Tony and got rid of him. I made that section of the city, several alley ways known as the Melting Pot my base of operations." Now for the hard part. The first part was definitely a stretch to believe even in a world of superheroes. Now the second part was going to be worse. It would also pose him as an even bigger threat by the implications. "I have many spirits inside of me. All crying out for one thing. Or so I thought." His eyes cutting away from Julia back towards Ken. "Amara of the Void gave me a proposition to get that girl in exchange for a chance to get close to the leader of the Delgatos so I could end him. I didn't want to take it, but something drove me to. When I grabbed her she defended herself and when I came to all the voices inside my head were quiet." The Weepings orange eyes appeared relieved at the thought. "For the first time in weeks, I heard nothing. It was then that I realized I had been controlled...influenced....by a powerful spirit and when Maddie forced it to sleep, I regained control." He looked upward towards the ceiling taking his eyes off of them. "I have come to realize I care for the people at the Melting Pot and Amara is angry that I failed. So thus..." His voice trailed off before he whispered. "I need help." The Weeping was silent for a time before his head lowered and he glanced towards Ken. His expression changed. It softened almost seemed a mixture of worry and sadness and the voice that left his lips was a lot softer. "You need to let it go Chef."
