Maybe not in actual temperature but in resilience and a sense of home...of community. The people that lived in Nan Gau were determined to stay, to live, in this place and looked out for each other. If she had to admit it, KaMara enjoyed the sense of community. She hadn't really known she missed it until venturing out into the world. She'd been happy, in a way, living in the cave with Him but maybe she'd just grown used things that way. Not knowing what she was missing... Having eaten and with a few hours left before dusk, the warrior found herself an unoccupied space near the meager fire flickering in the hearth and did what soldiers have done since there were soldiers. She slept. They'd be marching at dusk and in the numbing cold, she intended to get all the rest she could. Only the muster call roused her from her nap. It wasn't exactly refreshing sleep but it was better than nothing. "Is the weather always this bad or is this something the Dead brought with them?" she asked as the group marched from the gates of Nan Gau. "If they brought it in, I'll put my sword to every one of 'em til it gets warm again.". Every step towards Nan Li did little to improve her mood towards these undead. KaMara kept herself warm with the thoughts of what she was going to do when she met them.
