The reindeer almost moved on instinct alone. He had to stop them from wanting to follow their normal route. When he arrived in US Air Space he managed to avoid their fighter jets. He thought about blasting them out of the sky, but he didn't want anything prolonging his arrival in Metropolis. He knew that his archnemesis was waiting for him and didn't want to give him too much time to prepare. When Toyman arrived in Metropolis everything was normal at first until he saw a snowstorm raging over only one part of the city. "I see Thor has rolled out the red carpet for me. Good. Saves me the trouble of having to look for you." He flicked the reins against the reindeer urging them to fly faster. As they flew he reached into his bag of goodies to take out some presents for Thor. He pulled back on the reins once they reached the center of the snowstorm. He couldn't really see much in front of him or below him, but he figured that Thor had to be at the center of the snowfall. "Bombs away!" He yelled to no one as he dropped Present Bombs below. He leaned over the side of the sleigh to see how well his bombs did. Beneath the explosions he noticed a small dome of lightning. He was annoyed by his persistence to stay alive, but there was no way he'd be able to keep that up forever. He continued to drop bombs down to weaken or nullify the barrier and didn't notice when Starfire flew up from the ground. But he did notice a light overhead thinking it was another one of those jets that followed him here. He stopped dropping bombs and reached into his bag to pull out a toy gun made of nth metal and was about to fire it at the persistent jet when the sleigh was shot by bolts of energy. He jerked to the side of the sleigh and the reindeer kept it stable in the air. That clearly wasn't a fighter jet and Toyman knew that wasn't Thor's own energy. It was a completely different color. Then he remembered the arrival of an alien on the news that Thor discovered and helped. Great. It was already frustrating to have to fight one super being, now he had to worry about another. He stood up and aimed his gun at the flying lite brite and fired a beam of energy fueled by the nth metal in the gun. Meanwhile on the ground Thor noticed that the presents stopped falling. "Starfire must have been successful at distracting him." He said as he turned to Zach. "You can drop the decoys for now. We can't be having you pass out." Thor dissipated the dome of lightning over them and wondered what he should do next. If he left Zach alone on the ground he worried about what'd happen to him from a stray attack, but he also wasn't sure if he should leave Starfire up there by herself. He looked up and focused through the snow and saw a beam of energy blasting through the air. On instinct he launched himself in the air to block the beam from hitting Starfire. Thor flew directly in the path of the beam before it could reach her. He planned to smack it aside with Mjolnir, but was only fast enough to place himself in between the two. He was shot directly in the chest and felt a pain similar but different to that of the Destroyer Armor. Thor felt weakened as if his power itself was being drained from the attack. He fell to the ground like a meteorite creating a small crater in Centennial Park. As he fell the snowstorm faded to leave clear skies above Metropolis once again. Toyman jumped and yelled with glee. "I did it! I defeated Thor! This is the best Christmas ever!"
