Yumi blinked at the girl who had just plopped down across from her, crimson eyes scanning her like a spotlight. Then, tipsy and unfazed, she giggled, loud, bright, and completely uncoordinated.

[color=4c87bf]"I... uh... yeah!"[/color] she slurred slightly, raising her mug a little higher in a clumsy salute. [color=4c87bf]"I'm an advenshurer, that'sh me! Well,"[/color] her voice lowered to a loud whisper, [color=4c87bf]"I guessh I'm moore of a huntresh, allthough not the kind that huntsh deersh an'shit."[/color] She laughed again, nearly tipping the mug over.

Her gaze immediately drifted to Ruby’s scythe, her eyes practically twinkling in the firelight. [color=4c87bf]"Whoooooaaaaaaa!"[/color] She leaned forward and rested her elbows on the table. [color=4c87bf]"This issssshhh sshhooo coooooool! Look at the curve! The grip! The edge! How long did it take you to, you know, get used to swinging something like this?!"[/color]

She paused, taking a big, sloppy quaff from her mug, foam brushing her lips, then set it down with a satisfied sigh. [color=4c87bf]"I... I kind of picked up a shcythe because of thish shhow I watched where... wait..."[/color] She hiccuped softly and froze, cheeks flushing bright red. [color=4c87bf]"I forgot. You donn't have the internetsh here."[/color] She giggled in embarassment.

[color=4c87bf]"But sherioushly!"[/color] She leaned forward again, waving a hand at the weapon like it was a sparkling treasure. [color=4c87bf]"Yoursh ish amashing! I mean, jusht look at it! The weight, the balansh, the... all of it! Man, aren't schythes freakin' shweet?!"[/color]

Yumi paused for a moment to finish off the last bit of ale in her mug — which was only her second — before flagging a nearby waitress. [color=4c87bf]"Neksht roundsh on me!"[/color] she exclaimed with an exaggerated gesture across the table at Ruby.  She beamed brightly and extended a hand for Ruby to shake, giggling slightly as she tried to hold it steady. [color=4c87bf]"My namesh Yumi. Aoi Yumi. And I think we're gunna be besht friendsh!"[/color]
