Introduding Korvax Nori...
Name: Korvax Nori Species: Ugnaught Age: 45 [Ugnaughts have more than twice the life span of humans.] Appearance: Korvax stands 4’ tall and weighs 90 Lbs. He has brownish grey hair and pinkish brown skin. His face can best be described as looking like that of a pig with folded jowls. Korvax tends to wear red clothing as it is his favorite color, either a shirt and trousers or coveralls. He also straps on his tool belt/harness which contains several important tools to carry out his duties as ship’s engineer.

Equipment: • Rolling tool kit with several stacked drawers containing various tools used in the repair of engine machinery. • Small handheld repair kit containing essential or often-used tools. • Micro flame welding kit • Hydroclamps and magclamps • Personal clothing items • Small vibroblade (knife) in a sheath on his tool belt • Boxes containing several “projects” Korvax is working on. Abilities: • Korvax can crawl into small spaces that humans cannot Skills: • Mechanics: As with most Ugnaughts, he is very skilled in engine repair. • Inventive: Korvax is curious about how things work. If he doesn’t know, he will spend time tinkering with things to figure out how they work. • Pilot: Korvax does know how to fly smaller craft in the 20-meter to 100-meter range. He is not an exceptionally skilled pilot, but can get a vessel between two planets safely. • Scavenging: Appreciates taking discarded parts and repurposing them for his own use or for repairs on the ship. • Hardy: Ugnaughts in general are a very hardy lot, able to withstand punishment and misery and keep on going. Weaknesses: • Korvax is not the most sympathetic person ever, completely devoid of empathy. • Not a very good hand-to-hand combat fighter. • Although Korvax has some experience with shooting blasters, he is not accurate at all. Most Stormtroopers could beat him in a shooting contest. • Like most people of the age, Korvax enjoys alcoholic beverages. Some might say he likes them a bit too much. He typically goes through four phases of drinking over the course of an evening and doesn’t know when to stop. Korvax will drink until he becomes fun, then angry, then falling down and eventually passing out. History: Like most Ugnaughts, Korvax Nori was born into slavery on the planet, Gerrenthum. This planet contained the capital of the Anoat System of the galaxy’s outer rim territories. His home life was repetitive. It was not so much about survival; his family had what they needed to survive from their owners, who took very good care of them. The Ugnaughts were special commodities requiring only work to keep them focused. The Nori family was owned by a family that ran a repair shop. Oftentimes, “employees” were shuttled to an orbiting repair station to complete work on larger vessels who remained in space. Korvax began working with other family members at a very young age. He learned to read and write when he had time and seemed to master advanced mathematics at an early age. He always had a curious mind. Korvax worked on Koensayrs, Correllians, Durotechs, and several other manufactured vessels. At the age of 35, Korvax met Dula Hura, who was engaged in moving “special” cargo from one planet to another. Dula was doing a job on Gerrenthum at the time. Korvax was interested in seeing more of the galaxy than just his little slice of it and managed to get aboard with several acquired tools from his former owner/employer. He appreciated Dula in allowing him hide aboard the vessel when he left. Surprisingly, the Galactic Empire did not inspect his ship when he left. Or maybe the company that was shipping the goods off-world paid the Imperials to overlook the Breon Dayvan. When she came aboard, Korvax met Jade Sum, an attractive Duros female whom the Ugnaught figured Dula took on as his sex slave. He didn’t care for her initially, but he quickly learned and appreciated her value to the crew. She is a more skilled warrior than he. While Korvax kept busy ensuring the craft flew well and that their cargo was properly secured in the holds. Jade remained on the bridge with Dula, learning the intricacies of flying the vessel. In the time they have flown together, Korvax and Jade have acquired mutual respect for one another. They work well together as a crew. Maybe because he is an Ugnaught or maybe because he has been doing what he was told all his life, he continues that same work ethic with Jade, doing what she tells him to do. Although his feelings have been hardened over the years, he was sad when Dula Hura died. Korvax had a lot of respect for the Duro who saved him from captivity. He did not come to tears as some might suspect, but did spend more time than usual alone reflecting on the time spent aboard the Breon with Captain Hura. “I have spoken!”
