It was over. The fighter and the cantor ultimately fell to the ground unconscious. Due to the darkness, rain and Noelle’s song. Noelle’s barrier slowly lowered her to the ground before vanishing. As the girl touched ground, her mermaid tail reverted to human legs. Noelle wabbled for a second, adjusting to having legs again, but soon regained her footing. [COLOR=#4876FF][I]"Thank the spirits this is over"[/I][/COLOR] she thought, letting out a soft sigh. She watched the attendants rush in to secure their fallen opponents before she was ushered out of the lane. Thankfully, their opponents seem to be alive. In terrible shape but alive. That was a big relief to the mermaid. Perhaps her song did save them from worse in the end.

 When Noelle exited the lane, she suddenly felt a wave of nausea run over her. The consequence of using so much power in one move, and partly due to accepting the power of the voice. But by far not the intensity she felt due to the sickness. Noelle managed to alleviate the nausea with some calm breathing and a whole heap of stubbornness. 
 She had heard Edwin’s demand to talk as they left the arena. But Noelle had no intention to humour the man. She had more pressing matters than to converse with such a creepy, self-righteous oaf. Unfortunately, he had positioned himself next to the mana pup, still demanding to talk. She had to admit he really looked scary with how the light hit his cheekbones. Noelle threw the man a glare before rolling her eyes and approaching the mana pup. 
[COLOR=#4876FF][B]"What’s the matter? Have you found her?"[/B][/COLOR] Noelle asked the pup, crouching down, completely ignoring Edwin at first. She then looked in the direction where the pup was staring [COLOR=#4876FF][B]"She’s over there, isn’t she?... And it’s bad… Let’s not waste a moment."[/B][/COLOR] Noelle picked up the pup and held it in her arms. 

 There was still Edwin, who wanted some answers from her. Noelle turned to the black knight, glaring at him with suspicion.

It just followed me from the eastern wing… And No. I’m not going to give it to you, nor can you buy it from me. The only one I'm going to give it to is its rightful owner. She wanted to find Aedrianna as fast as possible before it was too late.
