Ben had gotten Danni’s message, and changed his path to head for the hot chocolate station. Not long after that Chase had messaged him and he let Chase know where he was going. Before Ben got to the hot chocolate station Chase came up and picked him up. At first he yelped, but that turned into a laugh once he realized who it was. 

[color=cde0e1]”Ah, put me down,”[/color] he protested. He put the crown on his head, grinning. [color=cde0e1]”I missed you. Sorry about my Uncle. He was big mad.”[/color] He kissed Chase. 

[color=cde0e1]”Want to go meet up with Danni?”[/color] He gestured in the direction he had been going to meet up with Danni at the hot chocolate stand. He didn’t want to wait long, if he knew Danni he’d see something shiny and wander off and forget to say anything. 

Ben hoped Chase did. He had promised Danni he would hang out with him. Ben hadn’t addressed the fact that Chase was nervous about hanging out with Danni’s friends. He wasn’t sure how to approach the subject. In the group text Chase had expressly said that Danni’s siblings and friends wouldn’t like him. Ben didn’t know why that would be the case.
