[i]Juniper was born to a long line of powerful Earth Witches and raised within the earliest iterations of the Corinthia Coven. Both bloodline and Covenhood taught Juniper, for as long as she can remember, to embrace her Charm. She was lucky to never truly know the hardships of hiding away from her Magic thanks to the sense of community amongst her family and fellow Witches. Alas, her upbringing was not without bounds. When Corinthia still followed Elder Law, the importance of obeying The Elders was heavily emphasised and the Sorceresses trained her to be cautious in the face of humans. 
The Hawthornes, her anncestors, are known in the Witch Community for their dedication and commitment to the energy they call “Mother Earth.” They have always been a tight-knit community, focused on protecting the fruits of the Earth and all Earth’s creatures. Juniper embodies that ethos with her gentle, calming soul and nurturing demeanour. Softly spoken, June doesn’t fill silence for the sake of it. Her words are carefully chosen, her thoughts are meticulously arranged and she always thinks before she acts. 

This is why her family were so surprised and dismayed when June’s belief in The Elder Way began to fracture. But she’d outgrown the coffin the Elder Way had put them in, she began to challenge the idea that Witches should remain hidden and that “Magic was a secret best kept between Witches.” It was unlike her to go against the grain so overtly, so juxtaposed to her usual placid aura to become so fiercely anti-establishment. But Juniper did it all in the name of Mother Earth. Even when looking up to her Sorceresses and her own family, June could see no one stepping out of line in the name of Witchhood Freedom.

It is for the planet that she began to form the branch of Corinthia that exists now. Without Witch intervention, June fears for the fate of the Earth. Humans, destroying the very Planet they so require, are incapable of fixing the environmental damage they’ve caused. And the Earth Witch wholeheartedly believes that remaining bound by The Elder’s strict chains will doom Nature. She saw the suffering of fellow Witches, ostracised and decaying in the shadows, and decided that enough was enough.

Her family abandoned Corinthia and retreated closer to The Elders whilst Juniper continued to build a Coven that would overthrow The Elder Way and pave a path to Power; Unbridled, unchained, unstifled Power that she can share with her fellow, like-minded Witch. Juniper grew into the mild-mannered yet fiercely determined Witch she is today. Quietly confident and unafraid. After all, she has Mother Earth on her side. [/i]
