๑ Soren Virelle ๑

☾ “Gentle does not mean powerless.” ☽

۞ White Witch ۞

❦ Personality and history❦
Soren is gentle, thoughtful, and empathetic. Traits often mistaken for weakness in the world he was born into. Soft-spoken and slow to trust, he tends to observe more than speak, choosing his words carefully. He prefers to avoid conflict when he can. That said, he possesses a quiet determination. Once he sets his heart on something, he won’t be easily swayed. He is still mourning the death of his mother and mentor, whose teachings live on in everything he does. Her belief in him shapes the way he moves through the world. He believes in the goodness of others, and carries a deep respect for magic as something sacred and intimate. Soren fully embraces the feminine side of magic. His strength comes not from overpowering others, but from his ability to heal, to protect, and to endure. He finds power in softness and wields it proudly. Beneath the calm, however, Soren is full of feeling. He longs for connection, aches to be accepted, and sometimes wonders if there truly is a place for someone like him. He has a dry (some would say sassy) sense of humor that really only comes out when he feels comfortable. Soren’s Witchhood began in secrecy. Born into a powerful lineage, he was deemed an “irregularity” by the Elders due to his gender. His grandmother, a respected Elder, refused to acknowledge him publicly. In her eyes, boys were not meant to be witches. Instead, Soren was raised and trained privately by his mother, Caelia Virelle, herself a gifted White Witch. Six months ago, Caelia died under circumstances officially labeled a magical accident, a label Soren does not believe. Following her death, he was encouraged by Elders to repress his abilities “for his own protection.” Isolated, grieving, and disillusioned with Elder authority, Soren sought refuge with the Corinthia Coven, drawn to their belief that magic should be nurtured rather than silenced. Under Corinthia’s guidance, he now works to heal both others and himself, learning to stabilize his Light Magika through connection rather than repression.
