Luckily for me, they have given me clothes to wear and have allowed me to stay with them. At least until I can find my people and return home, who knows how long that will take. But, as I have stayed with the tribe and noticed some things. Nothing makes sense, and I have no clue where I am. For starters, Ozen's tribe, a small one, are nomads. That is clear now since I asked about farming or other foods. They looked at me with confusion. So I dropped it and focused on what they had. They have carts, horses, and some animals. Mainly cattle, sheeps and goats. Which I have asked that they move with the seasons to ensure their animals get food and do not starve. Now, there are not many nomads left in the world, from what I remember, but these people are too primitive. No iron or steel or anything that indicates that they know or have anything of the modern world. Not even saddles of all things. Which I have tried asking questions about the world, and what they know, but after getting answers that give me nothing but looks and confusion. I now have even less idea of where I am or how I got here. Because, based on what I have observed. I am not even sure how I am understanding them since they know nothing about America, and yet I can understand them. Either they speak English, or something else is happening, and I am just confused. What has happened to me, and why am I here? Wherever I am? But at least despite my situation. I know I can stay with Ozen's tribe and be safe and fed during my time here. Which by Ozen's advice, I should make myself useful to the tribe while I stay with them. Advice I agree with, and I have been helping around where I could. I know little about the lives of nomads, but I am starting to learn. But, one fact that I am surprised with about them is that, despite being nomads. They have knowledge of metals, since I have seen some of the tribe with gold and silver ornaments. Plus, copper and bronze tools and weapons. So at least they have that and not solely sticking with stone and bone. Still, maybe by staying with the tribe, I can find someone who knows where I am, and while I am not sure if I can find someone who knows how to get me back home. It will be a learning experience either way. Either way, I plan on helping the tribe and learning more about the area. I am just glad that I have someone to help me survive wherever I am at. So, here goes living with nomads and who knows. Maybe I can find a way home, but for now, here goes nothing.
