Name: Cass Warden Age: 24 Appearance: A relatively short and lean woman with expressive eyes and long, black hair, which she keeps in a loose ponytail. Her fashion tends toward comfort over style or function--in her own words: "I'd rather die than be trapped in some stupid, tight outfit all day." Background: Cass Warden never liked Austin; she'd never be able to explain why. Some days, she could tolerate him; other days, she'd want to strangle him, and most of the time, however, she thought he was a poser. Some stupid kid, with stupider dreams... and then he became a hero, while she was left to rot after high school. It was funny, really. She went to the same school as Austin, but they were never close. Frankly, she recalls only talking to him one or two times, but they shared a lot of classes together, and that was enough of a reason to judge him and maybe spread a rumor or two. Not like they catch on. In senior year, Cass had noticed that Austin was a 'powered' person. He didn't use his powers all that often during school, but she noticed the small moments when he did, when he tried to hide it. After graduation, she left Elysian Heights for the city to become a small-time journalist and writer, only returning after hearing about Austin's passing to attend his funeral. At A Glance: By all accounts, Cass was an anti-social jerk. Truth is, she never changed. She wasn't very well-known during her time in Elysian Heights, nor was she that well-known outside of it; she's bitter, really. Austin and some of her other powered classmates got to be famous, while people like her had to keep their place at the bottom. The few friends she's had, however, regard her as a loyal friend, if not a bit petty. She'd never actively harm anyone, but if someone messes with her friends, then expect some social death or scandal to fly out. Regardless, she's an observant character who's usually stuck in her own head, and it shows. Relationship to Austin: Minor enemy of Austin's, not a major villain or anything, just someone who didn't like him all that much. If anything, she thought of him as stupid. "If you're supposed to be older than me, why do you act so childish?"
Got something quick out, let me know if I need to change anything! o7 She's kind of a quiet character, BUT she has no problems interacting with others, she's just kind of a judgy a-hole lmfao
