Competed all over North America before eventually returning to his homeland of Japan, becoming an instant star thanks to his flashier style and flamboyant personality. He's had countless matches with Super Matsuda over the years, and they have developed a mutual respect despite their differences in approach. As a wrestler, he represented a bridge between the Japanese style and the American style, and he serves the same role as a commentator. A fluent bilingual speaker, he is also an invaluable backstage interviewer. Commonly referred to as "Showtime" by wrestlers and fans alike, as if it were his first name.
