"Heh. I get where you're coming from, but be professional, okay?" Leonardo said with a light chuckle at Derald's comment about their client's appearance.

To Derald's remarks about demons and his offer to try investigating where their client's kid had been last week, he replied, "Yeah, well...demons are rare, even for us in the Clock Tower. The Church usually quickly takes care of most genuine demonic possession, so mages don't encounter them a lot. Well, there ARE some mage families in Eulyphis whose foundations are Solomonic Summonings, so they do deal in demons, but aside from those guys, angels are probably used more in magecraft than demons. Anyway, the idea to investigate where the kid's been is not a bad one. We can't rule out the fact that this is a work of a mage or other people dealing in the supernatural, as Ms Amari does have connections to the magecraft world."

It was then that he saw Selene pulling out a leather book and starting to read an entry about demons.

Leonardo nodded, "That's about all I know about them, too, even if I use Spiritual Evocation magecraft," then seemingly unbothered at the change of demeanour in Selene, he continued without missing a beat, "I'll have to say no to you asking your acquaintance, though. Considering your place of residence is at St. Elmo's Church, I have a pretty good idea who you were referring to. Unfortunately, our client also requested not to involve the Holy Church—apparently her grandfather had a brutal encounter with an Executor once, so she's wary of the Holy Church and their agents—so obviously bringing in an Executor for expert opinion, so to speak, is a no-go. I'd rather that—"

He then stopped, as Selene confusedly asked about why the 'metal box is making a noise'.

Unlike before, when Selene was showing some hostility, this time, Leonardo was caught off guard, taken aback.

"You're...joking, right? There is no way you're that clueless or out of touch, even my cousin, the current Lord Animusphere, knows what a phone is! Even if she doesn't use one. And the Animusphere is infamous for being an isolationist hermit on top of a mountain!"

He then sighed. He might have underestimated how sheltered Selene was. No wonder she thought about getting revenge on the Gaiuslinks; it wasn't arrogance, she was just absurdly oblivious.
