"They worked together." Roxy acknowledged with a shrug. She didn't really remember the man. He was a shadow in her mind even though she had been old enough to remember him. She was sure there was a reason but right now that didn't matter. She pushed the thought away. Those memories wouldn't do them any good. Roxy growled when Wyn commented that it was going to take awhile.she could see that he was right. She stood up. "There's no reason to stay here." She debated going to the roof. There was no reason for them to spend time together. She was usually comfortable being alone but right now she didn't know why but she didnt want to be alone. She climbed the stairs to the roof wondering why she was choosing to spend time with Wyn. She should. He was a temporary part of her life. Like everyone else in her life. Her mother had walked out when she was nine and her father had kicked her out at sixteen. Roxy had been alone so long she wasn't sure she remembered how to be with someone. At the top of the stairs, Roxy looked up. "So many stars."
