I got fooled so badly by the RE3 remake demo back when it came out. The demo was that early portion of the game in that largely open Raccoon City streets area, which ended up being the best part of the entire game, imo. Most of the rest is, like you said, far too linear, and the game is way too short overall. I [i]really[/i] should've waited for a sale on RE3.
