I think that's what RPG is for me honestly LOL. But I've since found out that I write at a certain speed (and that writing does indeed take time, whudda thunk??) so then I had to figure out how to balance that with school.

tbh I just keep signing up for random stuff, like book club sessions or improv workshops. the most consistent commitment I have on the side is D&D 😛 but no regrets in that department, I have a ton of fun with my party.
