[/quote] Plus how often do you think you know the character, only to get three posts deep and find her basically writing herself because what she would do in a situation, and what you anticipated her to do, don't align at all? I love that feeling actually—of my own character surprising me like that—as I'm sure you do, too—but this will avert CS misrepresentation, like you say.
