THey were bullied and abused, and they ran away from the orphanage after they awakened their shadow powers [hider=My Hider] because they killed the proprieters of the orphanage on accident after they went after a ~4 yr old new arrival [/hider] on the subjust of how they became interdemensional, it was several years later and they were in the shadow corridor, and they went through a branch that felt weird and when they left the shadow corridor, they were in a different deminsion (the shadow corridor is how the shadow travel appears to him)
