Yev is really just doing some home brewing, minor production, using fallen fruit deemed unsuitable for anything but animal feed. It's not like she has the facilities and contacts to supply the other domes.

Rumors have probably brought up that she's a convicted domestic terrorist, so a little distance is expected. And it's hard to ignore the eye or arm so she may have said something curtly about the organ-jacking when asked. As far as the rest, that Lifetime movie was just a hijacking of "the hand that rocks the cradle".
