The slow travel through the caverns was something that Mokou, unfortunately, couldn’t exactly sleep through. Not only did the Drilldozer alert the various bugs to their location, but it also prevented the phoenix from closing her eyes for any meaningful amount of time, causing her to let out a sigh before sitting back up. Kept true to her word however, and didn’t leave the Stagecoach’s side, instead firing a flurry of feathers at whatever bugs dared to come close to Sandalphon’s resting place. For all their numbers, they were still easy pickings for the just as numerous projectiles that Mokou could unleash. A few of the larger and more durable types managed to get somewhat closer, but most of the bigger threats were focused more on the noisy Drilldozer than the stagecoach and its fiery protector.
