She's always bouncing on the balls of her feet and dancing around the stage with vigor. She's quick to laugh and wave during shows. She brings a loud and excitable energy both to her performances and her interactions with fans.

Amélie seems to have a bit of a mischievous streak, often lovingly teasing and joking with the other girls in her group. She very much plays up her naivety and innocence, utilizing widened eyes and seeming clueless in some of the ways of the world. She seemingly remains very optimistic about the troubles the group hit. [indent]Amélie came from humble beginnings, the type that convinces little girls they really can do anything. She was raised as in a humble town in France to 2 immigrant parents, the exact village is unknown but fans have theorised on where. Amélie was a performer from a young age, always singing and dancing for whoever would pay her an ounce if attention. Seeing potential in her, her family scraped together the money to send her to singing and dance classes

When she was 16 Amèlie left school and attempted to make a name for herself in the industry. She busked in the streets, performed at local pubs and uploaded videos of herself singing to tiktok and youtube. Eventually she was scouted for the idol group, skyrocketing to fame quick. Amélie loves interacting with her fans and bringing a fun energy to the crowd[/indent]

[indent]Behind closed doors Amélie is a very different person; calm, quiet and introverted as if her stage persona saps the life and energy out of her. She's soft-spoken and, while her persona seems to say the first thing that pops in her head, the real Amélie seems to be more careful about what she says, as if she's afraid to say something wrong. She struggles to form opinions- or at least to voice them and tends to leave the decisions to rest of the group.

While she gets along with her groupmates somewhat she seems to hold most of them, and the world in general, at an arm's length. She rather spend time alone on her phone or in a book than with people although she is trying to learn to be better at being present with the other girls. Amélie has a range of strict routines for a lot of aspects of her life (eg warm up routine, a multistep skin care routine morning and night).[/indent]

[indent]Amélie was indeed raised by poor immigrant parents in France, parents who didn't seem to have the time or energy for her. For as long as she could remember Amélie was left home alone all day most days and trying to initiate time with her parents at home seemed to almost be a cardinal sin as she'd be disciplined with complaints stating they were too tired. It was Amélie's job to keep the house clean and feed herself. Her biggest solace was in Jean and Marie Martin- her kind older neighbours with no children to call their own. They quickly stepped in to help care for Amélie. It was Marie, who happened to be singing teacher in her working days, who taught Amélie how to sing and perform. 

While Amélie did leave her provincial town to chase music and fame, it was only a secondary goal. Her first was to get as far away from her family as possible. With the help of forged signatures, fake IDs and the Martin's endorsements, visits and financial support, Amélie took off to achieve thise warlier goals. She hadn't spoken a word to her family since but assumed the Martins must have smoothed things over with her parents as she was never reported as missing. 

She sends cheques to the Martins every month to repay them for their kindness and the money they spent to get her where she is.[/indent]
