"Thanks Aster, and thank you Taotie for humouring me. I've read about sentient weapons before, but there's some things I want to know about your experience, since I know you can't possibly speak for all sentient weapons." As Silas took Taotie in his hand it seemed the group decided to take the right path. It lead into a slightly long hallway, so he had time to ask a couple questions.

[i]I'm assuming you can hear my thoughts while I hold you given how I saw Aster acting while he was holding you,[/i] Silas intentionally thought, hoping he was right and he wasn't just holding Taotie in silence. [i]Again, thank you for dealing with my eccentricity. I guess my first question is, have you always been a weapon? Or did you used to be a person who was put into a weapon? Oh, and if I ask anything too personal feel free to tell me off. I've gotten in trouble before for asking insensitive questions.[/i] Talking to Taotie also helped Silas keep his mind off this dungeon, which seemed like more of a mistake the more the thought about it.
