Not for the direction I wanted to take the RP, I generally shoot for 6-8 players including myself. If I have to do more with NPC's to fill in gaps I get burnt out. Smaller RPs are awesome, but I haven't managed to get one going for too long with just one or two additional players. I've tried reworking Spidey & His Amazing Friends in something called the Amazings, did something akin to the Fantastic 4 once before Guildfall, and a superhero type of spin on Double Dragon. Never managed to get a Powerpuff Girls, VR Troopers, or TMNT off the ground.
