It aims to showcase the individual livelihoods and experiences of these students, including but not limited to their hobbies, their cliques, their families, etc. as they wrap up their final year of schooling. The roleplay, once the core group is formed, will begin start initially at the beginning of the school year and progress from there. Events, such as holidays, school outings (dances and sport matches, for instance), etc., will be set up and led by the GM team, acting as a sort of "chapters" to indicate advancement throughout the year.[/color][/indent]

It has a populace of around 11,000, and is about roughly forty minutes from Newark, New Jersey and New York, New York. The school district is shared with a nearby township, Oxbridge, with about a thousand students attending the singular high school alone.

The school's colors are a vibrant blue-gold, and their mascot a royal knight. It is well-funded, with numerous extracurriculars and electives for students to choose from ranging from secondary languages to seasonal sports to even specialized college courses. These electives have given the school a storied and well-respected history, with Eastwood being recognized for academic excellence and also numerous championship victories over the years.

You do not need to among the brightest, nor do you have to be of a particular social class. Eastwood Regional is a public school, with a small fraction of the student body able to receive either free or reduced-fee lunch. The school encourages everyone to attend, regardless of class, ability or otherwise.[/color][/indent]

This is more of a feeler if anything; something to test the waters. I haven't seen much SoL roleplays around the block lately, and it has been awhile since the guild has had an academy/school roleplay on the site. I've been wanting to develop Eastwood more into an actual setting rather than being a simple backdrop for a prior, unrelated roleplay, so I started working on this in hopes there might be any interest out there but also a reason for myself to be more active on the guild in general.
