It was supposed to be a fun night, a good night with some people. I just found the book in the old storage section of the college library. I did not know what it really was, and it just looked cool. No, I do not know what triggered it and what caused the book to start levitating off the ground. How was I supposed to know it was going to do that? I thought it was just an old book. Is this really happening?    

But, now that I think about it, I have been feeling different since that book did that weird explosion thing to us. Yeah, the book is still intact, but the words seem clearer for some reason. Did that book give us magic? No, no, but maybe. But, I have been having a sense. Like I can feel something, and for some reason, some people seem different. I do not know why, but I will read that book if that helps. What is happening to us? I am not sure why, but I feel like the world has gotten bigger for us. What did that book do to us? 

Unknown to a group of college students who after messing with an old book. It seemly giving them magic after doing a magical explosion. The book lies intact, though that is the least of their worries. Now they are mages, the world of the supernatural has opened up to them, and this is both a cause of joy and concern. Since the world of the supernatural is a dangerous one. One wrong move and you may become a thrall to a vampire or worse. 

Which, in the city of Milwell, with its own supernatural underground, is no different. Now it is time to see how these new mages can survive in this new world for them, and ultimately find their place in it.

Hello and welcome to the rp. In this rp, you will be playing a college student who was apart of a group of people who, after messing with an old book. Are now mages and have magic. But with everything, there is a cost. Now mages, the world of the supernatural will open up to them and prove to be a dangerous one. Death or worse is just one wrong move away. So the group will have to try to navigate their way to safety and survive while trying to find their place in the world of the supernatural.

Which the rp will be set in the city of Milwell, Washington.
