Serah furrowed her brow as Bug's private message to her came through. She didn't know if it was sincere or sarcastic, but all Serah had done was try to help out what she thought was a confused future-teammate. Bug telling her she'll treat her to sweets just made her feel like she was being treated like a child. Him posting a scandalous photo of Arrish and Griff wasn't helping either. Maybe if they weren't in a formal exercise, and maybe if she hadn't had her own encounter with Griff, Serah might've found this funny. Given the current situation though, she simply rubber her temples, being wise enough to have Atty not mimic her movements. Pulling up a virtual keyboard by swiping her hand in a certain way, Serah was quick to mail back to Bug: 'Take this seriously, please.' After that she simply listened to the incoming chatter, with the new pilot telling them that the other team was threatening him. She found it a little fishy at first blush; Aurora, Elora and Rhylaen were all on that team. None of them would threaten their fellow pilot just like that, would they? Then again, Griff was on that team and she had a much easier time believing he'd pull a stunt like that. So, given the story seemed to check out, Serah would choose to trust team Banana for now. Not like she'd get much time to ponder it further; Ritsu's voice rang out loud and clear over everyone's audio equipment, going over the rules again. Professor Lorenzo chimed in with the second half of the explanation, and Banana's role in all of this. Before long, he'd count everyone down with a: "Ready! Set! GO!" With her thrusters flaring, Serah and Atty dashed right into the battlefield on Lorenzo's mark. "Atty here! Gonna try and get as deep as I can, I'll relay the position of anybody I find. Cockroach, I'm counting on you to cover me if I draw fire!" Serah attuned herself to Atty's senses, feeling the cold wind brush against its chassis as the pair sped through the ruins. It was a nice feeling. The speed, the freedom of movement- Serah loved flying around together with it. For now Atty's wings were in their default configuration, making itself more aerodynamic to reduce friction as much as possible. Looking through the frame's eyes, Serah raced past the building which had once been in front of her right into the upper middle section of the map, just barely spotting a frame she'd never seen between all the buildings. It was moving away from Serah, though unlikely due to herself being the cause, ducking behind one of the buildings. "Unknown black frame spotted making its way directly east. Highly probable its Banana." With that report done, Serah continued on her own flight path, spotting another building directly ahead of the one she'd dashed past. It seemed like a nice, central location to get a lay of the land for while also providing some cover. Taking inspiration from Banana, Atty and Serah made their way along the building's walls, coming to a halt when she could just peer past its edge to get line of sight of the center-southwest of the battlefield.
