There was some fiddling with the sidearm as Sienna tucked it within her waistband. The grip was just right of her belly button, facing in. Given she was left-handed, that would make for the most efficient quickdraw. 

[I]But only as a last resort,[/I] Sienna reiterated to herself, in full agreement with the notion. Goodness knew those monster were attracted to the slightest bit of noise.

Sienna watched the others momentarily, then approached Maria; her having walked up to the woman a silent agreement in partnering up. 

The lighthouse was off in the distance. She quickly glanced at it, then at its surroundings and everything from such distance to the group’s current location. In all practicality, it was quite possible to make it there and back unscathed. Unfortunately, the opposite was quite true as well. 

“So what are you hoping to find?” she asked Maria, an attempt to distract herself and break the silence between them two.
