"Roger," Kedem said as he started to make his way to the security room. He stopped at the doorway where Fabio was, and when he realized that his partner had given him the job of being the point man. Kedem only lightly sighed at the notion. Someone had to be the point man, and
since Graves did not assign him or Fabio that role. It seems like the job is now his. 

So, being the point man and remembering where the security room was from the briefing. After listening to what the big tech person had to say, and how he planned on covering the corridor. Kedem only nodded in agreement since of his shotgun and just hoped that the tech would not accidentally hit him or Fabio in a panic if they encountered what caused this mess. Though maybe the tech is more brave or cool-headed than he thought, and that would be a welcome development. 

Thus, Kedem said, "okay, just follow Fabio and me and stay close. Let's see if we can salvage anything from the security room and remember to watch those corners." He took a long look into the darkness and said these words softly. "Into the breach we go."           

That was all he said as he started methodically moving towards the security room. Weapon raised and ready to fire, and checking each corner and room they passed before moving on. Making sure that Fabio and the tech were behind him and time to see if anyone was still alive in the security room.
