Like I said above, I'm just apprehensive to go all in when I don't think I can do the ideas I have justice yet, and interesting gameplay mechanics to try to build seemed like a good way to get closer to the point of confidence. (Plus the assets being a whole other skill set is yet another big wall, of course) Best of luck with your game as well, it sounds really interesting, so I'm looking forward to hopefully someday buying a copy. "Losing faith in the cool idea" is exactly the issue that keeps killing my attempts to make something basic but original game over and over every time I do a bit on it. That idea at the end is actually really interesting too, maybe I'll try to use it some day. Actually, that seems like a good faux tabletop game.
