Gwendlyn followed the drone through the maze of sublevel one to the location of the damaged pipe. With an audible groan of frustration, she looked for the valve to shut off the flow through that pipe so repairs could be made and oil stopped gushing upward. "That's the big question innit. As far as I know, Kaplan didn't want any kind of burrowin' critters due to potential damage to critical infrastructure." She told Yev while turning the wheel for the valve to shut off the flow of oil. The wheel was slick with oil and took longer to close than preferred, and now Gwen was also covered in the oil. "Neilson here, looks like something either came up or went down through the sub levels. Whatever it was is able to chew through concrete.... Kaplan do you know if Concern had something hidden away here? Cause I think it would be important to know of something that can tunnel through concrete. So far we don't seem to be leaking atmosphere." Gwen called over the open comms channel. She tried to wipe her hands as best as she could on her jumpsuit to get the excess oil off. Muttering to herself, she turned to face Yev. "I sure as hell hope not. That's the last thing we need, especially if they are down by the core. If one of those bastards chews the wrong cable we could lose the water recyclers, the weather controls, or worse the primary life support systems." Gwen paused when she realized what all she was saying could worry Yev more than necessary. With a slight grimace, she went about checking the size of the pipe and the damage to it. Once she had an idea of it all she looked back at Yev. "Hopefully it is only one or two and they can be dealt with easily. Let's head back and grab a repair sleeve to fit over the pipe until we can get a replacement section to properly repair it. I can probably handle it and the cleanup if there is something else you need to do." Gwen offered a feigned smile hoping to reassure Yev and give the young woman a way out of being in the sub-level getting covered in oil like she was. Neilson knew it would take up most of her day to do it all, most of it dealing with the waste oil covering the tunnel.
