[@Half Pint] Its a beastie boy [s]from the hit American hip hop group[/s]! You don't have any of the glamor grades labeled, and you're still missing genre, so I'm not going to look at the stat blocks too closely. Looks alright from a glance. Only real thing that needs to be addressed is the backstory. It's great, but while it's safe to say the US military has a reason to show up anywhere (as well as GEMINI) Maverick doesn't really have a global presence. It's possible Artie was detained and taken back to America, which is where he was intercepted. It would also explain his presence in Pax Septimus. We can nail down specifics in RP if you'd like, it's just a very weird time because GEMINI and Maverick Alternative had a joint operation at the end of the last RP, and I don't see them trying to style on each other so soon after that. But if we pretend that happened in the past, then that's doable. So I guess there's not really anything wrong with your backstory, I'm just filling in gaps with what makes sense for the present situation. I'd take other suggestions, but that feels like the simplest explanation. As for genre friction, just flavor it as something else. It could be stamina, focus, or some other type of energy our boy can tap into. You could take lightining and use the speedster note for him pushing himself to run a top speed, use shield/reflect to brace for blows, push/pull on self for impossibly high jumps if not a savage blow that sends an opponent reeling, etc. They will still be treated as magic by the system, of course, so they can be dispelled or weakened by abilities that target magic when/if that happens. Espers are inherently magical, it's kind of what makes them who they are. Not having any access to arcane damage isn't recommended, as monsters, like humans, are sometimes jerks regardless of what you do. But it's not impossible to get around without it.
