Jake heard Aurora's order and, at the moment, was the most reasonable one though he had no intention to abandon Sleeping Thunder to possible flankers. He'd stay somewhere close at the very least since a unit with Sleeping Thunder's arsenal was going to be needed for a push into enemy territory as well as matching other enemy units with similar arsenals.

Then, Cadet Horst comments brought up the approach of Framewerk Squid. Even more so, one of the Apple squad members had [b]Marked[/b] it since even Jake saw it clear as day.

Arming the [b]Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot[/b] of the [b]Heavy Assault Gun[/b], Jake fired then, regardless if the attack hit or missed, moved to his reported position behind the nearby building. Of course, the [b]Visual Cloak[/b] was temporary disabled but the building should provide enough cover for him to re-activate that part of the Cloaking Wings Mk.2 system but for now, framewerk Squid had his attention since it posed a threat to both Horst and Aurora.
