But modern Egypt is a bit different than it was thousands of years ago. While it’s clear Egyptians revere the past, they have embraced the future just like any other country. The same cannot be said for everyone, and that includes Isra Mahmud. Were it not for her appearance, you would swear she was a teenager. Isra likes to gossip, use slang terms, indulge in buying trinkets, and has every big aspiration under the sun from writing this decade’s best fantasy trilogy to climbing Mount Everest. What doesn’t interest her is everything in her adult life, which she unironically calls “adulting.” The idea of settling down or pursuing a career with a future is a surefire way to get her to roll her eyes. Most would describe Isra as being a little insufferable. Her wit is sharp, and she looks happy for absolutely no reason. And when she isn’t grinning like some asshole, she’s probably chewing someone out for some behavior she finds irreprehensible. Yes, she’s really fun on dates. That said, children tend to enjoy her quite a bit.
Backstory
Anyone living in a first world country would likely get culture shock if they were to visit Egypt. Aside from everyday commodities being prohibitively expensive, you have hundred year old buildings standing beside brand new ones and super shopping centers going up beside slum districts. The revolution in 2011 as well as the inflating American Dollar has made it difficult for the average Egyptian to survive. They have far less than their western counterparts, but are more positive about their situation. But Isra Mahmud is not an average Egyptian. Her parents owned a museum and were able to dip into Egypt’s huge tourist industry. They weren’t part of the super elite, but their daughter was well taken care of. Isra was able to enjoy every “basic” comfort the world had to offer, from a good tuition to owning her own smartphone. While Egypt isn’t quite Islam, they do borrow a lot of their culture from them. This includes the requirement for girls to be submissive towards men, and to allow said men to take care of them. Something about that never sat right with Isra, but it wasn’t like she could escape it. Her mother assisted her father, and it was the same thing for her friends. It was an unfortunate yet inevitable part of her reality. She would be married to someone who was capable enough to run the art museum and she would be expected to help her husband with all of his endeavors. Part of her preparation for this was to go to college for a business degree, and what Egyptian family wouldn’t send their daughter to one of the best western colleges? That was where she got a taste of that freedom she was yearning for. The woman of the west could wear what they wanted, go where they wanted, interact with who they wanted, and were not expected to serve their husbands to the same degree they would have back home. After spending years living by her own rules and “studying” late into the night, she couldn’t go back. It wasn’t difficult for Isra to shake her parents off her trail. After drifting around college for a few years, she told her parents a little lie: That she had gotten a fantastic job opportunity and found a wealthy man to take care of her. Having your child live a better life than you is every Egyptian parent’s dream. Why would they command her to come home? Something Isra hadn’t accounted for was the responsibility that came with her new freedoms. Mommy and daddy had been paying her way, so she didn’t have to worry about trying to support herself. Her parents saw no need to continue supporting her, assuming her husband-to-be had it all under control. College was prohibitively expensive and not something Isra could afford while working a minimum wage job. She left college without a degree and only had enough money to survive for a few weeks tops. Her student visa would most certainly expire now that she was no longer learning. Returning home wasn’t an option. Her parents would be more than furious if they learned how unproductive she had been with her time overseas. Though if the local government decided to come after her, she’d get deported and face her parents anyway. But even if neither of those scenarios came to pass, was this it? Was she supposed to work as a grocery bagger until she died? Meanwhile, magical girls were starting to become more prevalent in the media. Now that was Isra’s dream job. Getting adored by everyone, having powers, seeing the world, all under a superhero’s guise. And all you had to do was show up to beat up the monster of the week when things got crazy. Scoring a job like that would be amazing. But it was up to luck if you got picked to become a magical girl or not. The entire process wasn’t very well understood, but it wasn’t a career choice you signed up for. Or was it? That’s how one add in the paper made it sound. “Magical girl tryouts! Test subject needed!” It was a small ad with little information, but she called the number anyway. It didn’t seem like her status as an illegal alien or college drop out would bar her from entry. The pay would let Isra continue to live in the comfort she had become accustomed to. It all seemed a little shady, a little questionable, but Isra was too desperate to question anything. Turns out, Isra was one of fifty women to show up. What ensued was something akin to an intense elimination tournament that had nothing to do with magical girls and everything to do with enduring physically and mentally unpleasant challenges. At the end of the week, Isra emerged the winner and met the “wise scientist” who hosted the event. As it turns out, the wise scientist was looking for the perfect candidate to turn into a magical girl, with the tournament being a way of finding the most suitable among them. Though they admitted that it was mostly for their entertainment and they had way more practical ways to select a subject. This was followed by some laughter, before turning Isra into a magical girl. Now Isra serves the wise scientist, who seems more interested in being amused than bettering humanity or completing any real goal. But that’s just fine for her. So long as she can continue to live like a carefree child, she’ll gladly do whatever’s asked of her.
Other Details
- Yellow is her favorite color. - She may not have finished college, but she’s computer literate and understands how global economies work. That is to say that everything in her wardrobe is the exact same dress and even the same color. A white and blue dress with pouches for carrying things through the academy. She’s a native American indian (she claims) and has a darker shade of skin than many other magical girls. Her hair, much like her wardrobe, is not something she fusses over much. No one knows what her true magical girl form looks like. Her powers enable her to change her appearance at will, and the only thing that makes it evident Mika is "Oros the Wise" is her sword and powers. She's even made her magical girl form mirror her untransformed appearance as a joke. Description: For the most part Mika is kind, helpful, and energetic. It’s hard not to be captivated by the way she bounds down hallways, waving at everyone she meets. She also knows most of the students by heart and has given each of them cute pet names. This usually involves shortening their name, sometimes to a single letter. As a student counselor, she’s always willing to listen and give advice to students and even her fellow faculty members. Everything feels like it’s going to be okay when talking to Mika regardless of how hard things feel. That is, provided you don’t catch her on one of her off days. While she’s always jovial, she can also come across as condescending and even arrogant at times. It doesn’t happen often but when she gets mad she gets really mad! But that is a rare occurrence, and she would never, ever get upset with a student. There is a certain level of professionalism that she always maintains. Like so many other faculty members, Mika’s past is shrouded in mystery. Talking about her past usually prompts a joke about jumping to this reality from another one. She never reveals her actual age, but alludes to being centuries old. Though if one chose to parse her stories for what sounds believable, it makes her sound younger than that. Mika grew up on a farm out in “cow country” and spent most of her time with the animals. It might be fair to say that she loved animals more than other people. She was an odd girl and was picked on by a lot of the other children. When you’re different, it’s harder to get accepted by your classmates. When Mika was given a homework assignment that involved writing a bout a story she read, she took to the library where she found her grimoire, first faced the pageless, and got an “A” on her report card. Less mysterious have been her years at Marrywell Academy. While she can be eccentric, it hasn’t gotten in the way of her being a student counselor. She’s been there for many young magical girls and has a good reputation with most of the faculty members. Despite this, she has run some student drills in the past when she was still a normal teacher. Her drills were infamous for their punishing difficulty and some were cited as “despair inducing.” That said nothing of her classes, which were also difficult affairs to pass. Perhaps she got her reputation for encouraging others after so many failed to pass her classes. She is seldom brought in to teach anymore. Mika is very much into whatever the students are into and doesn’t care if her tastes seem childish. She like animals, comics, manga, cartoons, anime, pizza, and anything else you would expect a teenager to be into. Her dislikes are also on the childish side, which is primarily green vegetables. As part of the Grand Ministry, she thinks they are an alright bunch that do their best. That doesn’t mean that she or one of her clones doesn’t sneak off to do their own thing from time to time. She doesn’t fully trust Liliana’s leadership and thinks it might be time for some reforming so that new blood and new ideas can work their way into the upper echelon of the academy. She’s told Merlin as much, who found the thought funny.
Grimoire's Title: Fenian Cycle (Alter)• Classification: Alter Myth
Description: The Fenian Cycle is a body of Irish literature that was largely composed between the 9th and 14th century with the earliest one going as far back as the 7th century. The poems and tales primarily deals with Fionn Mac Cumhail (Finn McCool) and the Fianna clan’s merry group of warrior-hunters. Fionn’s father was slain by a member of the Fianna. As his father was a great warrior, there was some concern that someone would go after Fionn just for bragging rights, so he was hidden in the forest and raised by two druids. He became a great warrior, and by the ripe old age of ten he had gained enough renown that the king decided to let Fionn lead the Fianna. They went on many adventures. While most of the adventures focus on Fionn as the main character, there are stories about the other hunter-wariors and even one where Fionn is captured and needs to be rescued by his clan. While the Fianna’s adventures are best known to those native to Ireland, they have achieved some renown around the world and still make appearances in popular media. There are clear nods to their stories as recently as Adventure Time (Finn is discovered by two dogs in a forest, much like how two druids raised Fionn) And as far back as the tale of King Author, though that particular comparison is disputable as just that, some similarities. Regardless, the Fianna’s exploits have sent ripples through history, and is likely the great grandfather of any story that embodies the spirit of adventure. It’s a myth for sure. But what of its altered state? For maximum protection, Fionn is moved to the other side of the world through drudic magic. He is then raised by two shinto shrine maidens (basically Japan’s equivalent of druids) and at the ripe age of ten, decides to sail back to Ireland so that he can avenge his father as a warlord. The poems central themes of love, comradery, and adventure are tainted by hate, revenge, and conquest. More specific changes about the tale can be found listed under each power. Abilities: This grimoire enables its holder to take on the features of Fionn the Warlord, herein simply referred to as “warlord” as to not be confused with the original Fionn.
• Trout of Wisdom: One of Fionn’s first major stories involves him being tasked with cooking the Salmon of Wisdom for the man who fished it up, while being instructed not to consume it. He accidentally burns himself on its oils and sticks his thumb in his mouth to cool it off. This counts as consuming the fish, and he can now access the knowledge of the world by sticking his thumb in his mouth. In a similar story, warlord vanquishes the hermit fisherman, and then thrusts his katana inside the Rainbow Trout of Wisdom. The fish’s oils are then used to hone the blade, which makes it possible for warlord to view anything he wishes. For Mika, this makes it possible for her to divine nearly anything she wishes. All she has to do is look into her polished blade to see what’s happening past, present… but not the future, as it only shows her the “world’s knowledge” and does not apply to what has yet to happen. She claims she can look into other realities with it, but she has yet to find the book of Omen with it, so maybe take her claims with a grain of salt. • Wild Shape: Both Fionn and Warlord were raised by two magical mother figures who taught them magic. There is little difference here, save for the fact that Fionn used his magic to help people while warlord used it to become a more fearsome opponent. Mika is able to change the shape of her body. This includes subtle changes like increasing her height to more fantastical ones like giving herself the arm of a bear or the head of an owl. She can (and does) frequently mix and match her transformations and can quickly turn into an abomination. She could technically use this to become other people, but Mika isn’t good at impersonations and doesn’t do them unless she’s screwing around. • Carnage: The most noteworthy part of Fionn’s arsonal is his wits. He did chase a smith for ten days and forced them to make him “Mac An Lúin,” a sword that can kill anything in a single stroke, but he only uses it when in great danger. Some myths have him lifting mountains with his hands and depict the usually human fionn as a giant himself. In fact, some of Ireland’s mountain ranges were rumored to be created by him. Warlord on the other hand is no giant. He slew an oni and stole his strength before trying to get a legendary bladesmith to forge him a sword. When they refused, warlord took the smith’s body and threw it into the furnace, deciding to forge a sword fitting for his conquest. It is also said to kill in one stroke, but this is more attributed to warlord’s strength than his craftsmanship abilities. Mika’s strength is unmatched, as one would expect from a grimoire of her caliber that offers little in the way of magical attacks. While her attacks do not kill everything in one hit, that largely depends on how sturdy her target is. She also has a katana, but it’s fairly standard as far as magical girl weaponry goes. She’s also far more durable than her nimble frame leads one to believe. • Onslaught: Fionn eventually led the Fianna after completing a quest and even forgave the man that slew his father. The entire clan went on several adventures together and their respect grew with their conquests. Warlord never forgave the man that killed his father however. Not only did he kill him, he slew the rest of the Fianna as well. The only person warlord needed was himself. Mika can create her own clan of warrior-hunters…sort of. She can create four clones of herself which are just as strong as she is and share her personality. The only difference is that they know enough to take orders from the original and will sacrifice themselves to keep Mika alive. • Immortality: Most great heroes end their stories in death, but Fionn and the Fianna slumber under a giant mountain, waiting to awaken in Ireland’s time of need. Warlord on the other hand has left this reality for greater conquests, vowing to come back and sink Ireland once he’s strong enough to do so. Perhaps the two are fated to fight? Mika is no more immortal than any other magical girl, but she is much more resistant to poisons, hexes, domination spells, or other “crowd control effects" that would make her less effective in combat. Unlike a proper Italian, the way she dresses just barely conforms to school guidelines. She’ll wear a sweater with a low neckline, only to wear a tank underneath to hide her cleavage (as to not “spill” while bowing towards students.) Sometimes she dips more into business casual than formal, and how good her hair is depends on what time of day you check in on her. She looks pretty good in the morning, with her hair becoming all bent and frizzled by the evening. Subject: Home Economics Personality: Amber is gruff. She is no student’s favorite teacher as she lacks the bubbly, jovial nature most of the Japanese teachers have. She takes her class seriously and expects her students to do the same. That’s not to say that her classes aren’t well taught. They are made to be as engaging as possible. But Amber knows none of the children will remember her a year from now, and she probably won’t remember them either. She’s just here to give them the skills they need to survive out in the world. Japanese people tend to view westerners as a little rowdy, and that’s not incorrect for Amber. She’s very hard on delinquents and bullies, and god help you if the student you just gave a wedgie to informs Amber about it. Best case scenario she yells at you. Worst case scenario she does nothing, only to show up at your home while you’re eating dinner to tell your parents how shameful your behavior is. She used to take things a bit further in the past, but no longer does as it gets her in trouble with the principle. Amber doesn’t go out of her way to get to know the other teachers very well. She’ll greet them in the morning and show up to meetings, but is content to stay out of their lives. She’s a busy body that always has somewhere to be and can only allow so much time on any given interaction. Most who know her regard her as a hard worker that could stand to be a little more polite. Bio: Amber was born in Italy, but her parents moved to the states while she was quite young. Mr Bianchi was quite the engineer and specialized in the kind of plastic manufacturing plants that were being built in Texas at the time. He did a lot of traveling, but his lucrative job easily supported his family. So well that Mrs Bianchi could spend her days raising their children. They never entered public school as Mrs Bianchi wanted to teach them all herself. She got a hold of all the textbooks and all of her children did very well. The only issue with homeschooling was that none of them had a high school diploma to show their efforts. Once they were of age, they needed to find entry level jobs to get experience and support themselves. College was getting expensive, and Mr Bianchi couldn’t put all three of his children through college. Amber begrudgingly took on a job working retail at a bargain clothes outlet. That was where she encountered Jomei, her future husband. The boy had taken a shining to Amber, and it wasn’t hard to see why. She was a blond bombshell with a chipper personality. Jomei was a mysterious foreign stud who could speak English better than some of the locals. He was brash and unashamed. The second time he met Amber he asked her out on a date. When she said she was working, he proceeded to stick around the store, occasionally buying things to appear as a normal customer. He even got some Chinese takeout that they ate together during her lunch hour. He was rebellious, and she felt liberated being around him. But he was only in America because of his student visa, and planned to return to Japan someday soon. Amber could keep on working this dead end job, or she could go on an adventure with Jomei. Visit strange new lands, experience cultures, all with a boy that loved her. Amber was 18 when she moved to Japan, and got married in the same year. She gave birth to her first child not even a year later. She was so happy she decided to get out of America. But it wasn’t meant to last. Jomei grossly overestimated his ability to sustain a family, and it wasn’t like Amber could bring in the cash as a retail worker. The financial pressure put a lot of strain on their relationship, but Amber refused to get a divorce. Unfortunately for her, it’s not difficult for a Japanese native to file for divorce without their foreign spouse’s consent. She lost custody of her two boys, had no place to live, and had no way to support herself. She was only allowed to live and work in japan because she was married to Jomei. She did not know if she was going to have enough money to buy a flight out of Japan, let alone pay child support. But Amber was too proud to return to her family for help, and too stubborn to let herself get kicked out of Japan. As it turned out, all of those skills her mother had taught her so long ago made her perfectly suitable for teaching Home Economics and doing odd jobs. Not only that, but there were a lot of things she didn’t have to pay people for because she could do them herself. She was even able to get her marriage visa turned into a work visa so that she could do all of this legally. But it was a lot of work, and she didn’t have much time for leisure or relationships. After a few decades, the bubbly young girl turned into a bitter middle-aged woman. Her dreams of going on an adventure or finding love died with the young woman she used to be. Other:

Amber is distrustful of most Japanese natives, but reveres the principle. They helped her out when she was at her weakest.
Some of her odd jobs involve patching clothes, working in soup kitchens, and running street stalls.
Amber hasn’t spoken with her family since she was 18.
Likes having her nose booped, but will still retaliate to keep up appearances.
She might be romanceable, but I discourage it. Only a bit. Weapon: Masterwork Great-Bag-of-Infinite-Holding +5 - A giant, durable backpack that’s larger than the tiny adventurer carrying it. It’s heavy and durable enough that it can be used to block attacks. It also comes with various cooking instruments that can double as more practical weapons such as a ladle, frying pan, a mixing spoon, and several small utensils. But Amber’s favorite weapon to use is the pantaku, which is a pair of frying pans bound together with a chain. She can only use it properly when she isn’t wearing her backpack. Alternatively, she can use some vegetables as ranged weapons, like carrots and turnips. Magic:

Hammerspace - Amber can reach into her bag of holding and draw any mundane item she can think of. The only limit is that it has to be something she’s come in contact with at least once and can’t be larger than her bag.
Mend - Amber’s magic sewing bag lets her use her sewing needle and thread to fix anything. That includes non-cloth items like steel and glass.
Alchemic Genius - Amber can quickly brew potions of Strength, Speed, and Durability. But a recipient of a potion may only be under the effect of a single buff at any one time. She can also brew more harmful things such as potions of alchemic fire, poison, and fog. Her star ladle can be used to lob these potions great distances.
Adventure Financing - Amber can pull golden coins out of her bag of holding and throw them. Minions of the shroud seem to be attracted to them, and are more likely to attack magical girls that are holding them.
Other: Amber goes by the title “Oros the Shrewd” when she’s in her magical girl form, and tends to be far more optimistic. Like a brave adventurer facing the dangers of a dungeon. Her magical girl form looks unusual because she brewed a “potion of lemur” when she first awakened her powers. The potion gave her a youthful appearance, but some unusual animal traits. Her nose can also be safely booped in this form. • Emblem: A tattoo located just a few inches under her belly button, right over her intestines. • Devil Arm: Formerly, Suki’s sweet arm was a set of heart shaped IV bags that she could control with her mind. Now she wears a bleeding hair pin. Her hands, legs, and dress are always soaked in blood, effectively making them magical weapons. She rarely fights with her pin directly, but can form the blood into other things like claws, blades, and tendrils. Effective range is just a bit longer than the length of her arms, while her tendrils can reach a meter or so further. The more wounded she is, the more numerous her attacks become. • Magic: When Suki was a pure magical girl, her magic was based around love. Now it’s based around lust. Instead of enabling her allies as a nurse, she disables her enemies as a vampire or succubus. Though most just take to calling her a blood witch. Anything she touches is slowly overcome by a “geas” that makes them charmed by her presence. The geas can be resisted for a time, but if Suki holds on long enough, even the most resilient magical girl will fall to her charms. She also has vitality sapping kisses, and kissing someone on the lips or neck greatly accelerates the geas, provided they have those features. Once she lets go of someone, the geas fades and her charms slowly wear off. Miseria react strangely to Suki's lust magic. It confuses them rather than charms them, and her kisses can cause a backlash that charges up nearby monsters. • Background:
Some girls should have never been magical to begin with. Suki was not born into a stable family. Her father was a detective that was never home. When he was around, her parents used that time to argue with one another. It was no secret that her father wasn’t faithful, but they stayed together. Mr. Oyama didn’t want to split his assets with his wife, and Mrs Oyama couldn’t support herself without his lucrative job. This made Suki an undesirable symbol of their unhappy union. Her mother did the bare minimum she needed to keep Suki alive, and otherwise let her fend for herself. This made Suki a very needy girl. Her parents failed to provide her with any self worth, so she tried to find validation in others. Her desperate behavior was a red flag to most, except to those that weren’t above using her. She fell in with the wrong crowd and became a delinquent. Her parents would scold her, but at least she was getting their attention. She would dye her hair, get piercings, and get into whatever trouble she could. She smoked her first cigarette when she was 11 and had her first beer when she was 13. But the other delinquents didn’t stick around forever. Most of them wised up and started taking school seriously, leaving Suki alone again. She still liked the negative attention she was getting from her parents, and pressed on alone. Suki would get a reprieve from her mystery when she was greeted by a mascot. Naturally, she wished to be loved. The mascot already had a few magical girls under its wing, and they treated her with respect. What followed were the best years of her life. She was part of a team and was making a change for good. She saved people, even her friends sometimes. They helped her break her alcohol and nicotine addiction. They played arcade games and had sleepovers in place of causing property damage and petty theft. But Suki wasn’t going to be a girl forever. She was turning into a woman, and her emotional needs were evolving. It wasn’t enough to be loved by a group of friends. They all had boyfriends (or girlfriends) and Suki didn’t want to be left out. She wanted to feel romantic love. The kind of love Suki had never known. She had seen how cruel the real world could be, and knew she had to pick someone from her group. Suki set her eyes on Lada. She was a foreign transfer student, and a relatively new addition to their group of magical girls. She was kind, confident, and easy on the eyes. A real foreign beauty. When everyone talked about relationships, Lada was silent. Suki talked to the other magical girls and they were all pretty sure she was still available. Suki set out to have Lada join her on a surprise date. She was going to take Lada to a concert and then return to their hangout to ask about their relationship. She spent months saving her money for those tickets. Her other fellow magical girls were in on it, but she insisted on getting the money for the tickets herself. Lada was surprised that Suki wanted to go to the concert, but it wasn’t hard to convince her to come along. They had a great time, and it seemed like it was all going well. But when Suki asked Lada about being her girlfriend, Lada laughed. She swiftly apologized, then informed Suki she wasn’t into girls. That was devastating on its own, but what was worse was that this all happened in front of her friends, who were hiding around the hangout. Once Lada left for the night, they all came out to cheer her up. But as kind as their words were, they couldn’t cease their snickering. She was just a joke to them. They had never really been friends.. The following day she relapsed into her old habits as she let her despair fester. It only took a day for her dark emotions to corrupt her, and Nurse Joy became a blood witch: someone that didn’t need to receive love. She could make people love her. With Suki’s new powers, she immediately conspired to get that kiss Lada had denied her. It didn’t take a lot of stalking to find out where she was and jump her. Suki wasn’t good at stealth though, and the ensuing fight was messy. But in the end, Suki got what she wanted. It didn’t take long for her friends to find out what happened. Suki fled to Hibusa Town where she suspected she would never be discovered, and joined the delinquent club after trying to seduce one of their members.
• Sample Post:
It felt like everything that happened in Suki’s life led up to this moment. Lada’s room was a mess, but that was bound to happen when two magical girls fought in a small space. The bed had been overturned, the closet doors laid on the floor, and Lada’s dressers were reduced to wood and fabric, scattered to the four winds. In the center of the room sat the victor with their prize. Lada’s sword had cut Suki deep. The wound ran from the center of her chest down to her right hip. It was a grievous wound, and she wouldn’t had survived it if she wasn’t a magical girl. Lada, comparatively, had no wounds to speak of. But Suki didn’t need to wound her prey to win a fight. She was sitting on Lada’s stomach, with a pair of tendrils reaching out of her wound to pin the girl’s arms over her head. Lada could kick her legs, twist her arms, but she wasn’t getting free. Suki’s hands closed around her face. ”That was a nice fight!” Suki’s voice was sickeningly sweet, but her body lacked any kind of malice. She used her thumbs to follow the curvature of Lada’s cheek bones, then the bridge of her nose. She dragged her index finger down the center of her face, riding over her lips. ”Such beautiful contours, just like the wound you gave me!” ”Don’t.” Was all Lada could manage. Her breathing was becoming ragged. The geas was taking its toll on her mind, but she resisted. That wouldn’t last for long. ”Oh Lada! I couldn’t bring myself to hurt something so pretty! But we’re wasting time, and the anticipation is killing us.” Suki giggled. ”I know your first time is a little scary, but it’s my first time too! So just relax and let it happen.” Suki closed her eyes and closed the breach between their faces. Lada’s eyes went wide, but if she could have escaped she would have done so already. She opened her mouth to make one last plea, but Suki plunged her tongue inside. Her eyes dilated and her back arched, only for Lada’s eyes to flutter shut. Her entire body relaxed as Suki probed every inch of her mouth. The tendrils released her arms, and she wrapped them around Suki. Suki pulled her head back with a gasp. ”Oh sweetheart, that was magical!” She wiggled on top of Lada’s stomach. ”Your skin makes me want to cry! You glow like a goddess! You taste like a strawberry! Well, maybe a little more subdued than a strawberry, but-” Suki kissed Lada’s cheek. ”See? You shouldn’t have said no! We could have been having all this fun yesterday!” ”I-” Suki wouldn’t stop laying kisses along Lada’s neck and shoulder. ”I’m sorry, I didn’t, know it, would feel like, this.” Her eyes were half closed. ”But, I’m glad, you-” Suki placed her finger over Lada’s lips. ”I forgive you. The important part is you came around!” Suki leaned in to give Lada one more kiss, only to notice she fell unconscious in her arms. ”What? We didn’t even get to the spicy part yet!” But their alone time would be interrupted. The other five members of Suki’s magical girl team piled into the room. They already had their weapons drawn and were ready to fight. Suki shrugged. ”Yea, she decided to take a nap. I think-” Penny, the leader of the unit, closed the distance with a swift punch. Powerful enough on its own, more so when you considered the cyborg girl’s fist was powered by its own afterburner. Suki careened into the adjacent wall, and Penny caught Lada in her arms. ”She’s secure!” Suki didn’t even have time to stand back up before the other four girls stood in front of them. She placed her hand on the window sill to stabilize herself. ”Good evening!” Penny stepped between the other magical girls and looked at Suki. ”You’ve got ten seconds to tell us what you did to her.” ”Well.” Suki struggled to stand upright. ”I kissed her? A lot? But it kind of tuckered her out? I’m a little new to these powers, so I might have gone overboard. I think she’ll be fine with some rest!” The newly arrived wouldn't notice it, but Suki's wound from earlier had completely healed. ”Not what I meant, but I’m glad that’s the case.” Penny raised her fist and leveled it with Suki’s head. ”Answer this next question very carefully. Were you involved with Nurse Joy’s disappearance?” Suki tapped her chin. ”Only that we’re the same person.” Penny’s body tensed up as her allies gave each other confused glances. ”You’re her? Prove it!” ”Let’s see…” Suki looked over her former team. ”Lily’s favorite animal is a wolf, and she still sleeps with stuffed animals. Her boyfriend Alexander got her a plush wolf about a month ago and she wouldn’t shut up about it. Maura likes flowers, but is too shy to tell anyone because she thinks it will ruin her tough girl persona. Samantha wet the bed about a week ago, but she swore me to secrecy. Sorry girl, you understand right? Then there’s-” ”Why?” Penny’s fist was shaking. ”Why did you do this to yourself?” ”I did this?” The corners of Suki’s lips twitched. ”The only reason why I signed up to this outfit was so that I could be around people who loved me. Come on, Penny! You were my friends! I healed you, I helped you out, we did so much stuff together! don’t expect you to get it. Everyone loves you, but me? I can’t get my parents to look at me unless I do something bad. I took Lada to see a concert and the first thing she does is blow me off when we get back. You all laughed at me. A-and I get it, it was sort of funny!” She sniffed, but shed no tears. ”But you’re no different than my parents. You ignore everything I tried to do for you, but the screw ups? The mistakes? the bad behavior? Ohhhh, that’s gotta get corrected right quick! No one’s gunna make you look bad!” Penny pursed her lips. ”I see.” She closed her eyes. ”Nurse Joy is dead.” When her eyes opened, they were glowing neon blue, and every afterburner on her body fired up. ”The least I can do is avenge her.” ”Oh, uh...” Suki touched the tips of her fingers together. ”Can I have a do over or-” The speed in which Penny moved could be compared to teleportation. Her metal frame slammed into Suki with enough force to launch her out the window. The shattered glass haloed the blood witch’s form as she was thrown into the darkness. They never found her body, but she was never seen in town again. While she’ll wear flashy kimonos for her videos and fight appearances, she dresses far more casually in most situations. A baseball cap, vest, striped shirt, and jeans are her go-to items for just being out and about. Being that she’s only five feet tall, that baseball cap prevents most people from making eye contact with her. Unless they’re persistent. Regardless of how she dresses, she always has highlights. She’s always rocking a ponytail, but the stripe of color going through her hair can be any color and shape. Sometimes she has a purple corkscrew pattern that makes it look like her ponytail is twisted up, or maybe she’ll have a red racing stripe that goes from her forehead to the tip of her tail. There are no inflections in her voice, and it's rare for the corners of her lips to be doing anything. You need to pay close attention to her eyebrows and hands to get any indication of how she’s feeling. Or pay close attention to her words. She will occasionally joke or give backhanded compliments with a deadpan expression. That’s not to say Oriko is a robot. Every once in a while something will pique her interest and even her cool exterior won’t hold once that happens. Her interests tend to be kind of childish and she gets excited about things like phone cases that feature her favorite mascots or whatever new device “Insert triple A company here” is pushing. Oriko also doesn’t like nomads as a general rule, but there are some she likes way less than others. Maybe she doesn’t like the extra competition or their eccentric personalities rub her the wrong way. Only the shadow knows. She also leads a bit of a double life. “Oros the Swift” tends to be a bit more outgoing and friendly when she’s singing or interacting with the populace, though even she doesn’t look at nomads favorably. She was hardly the only youth in Japan that felt crushed under her parents' expectations for her. Not only that, but society was starting to demand more from its youth, and earlier on in life. But with a strong internet connection and her parents' willingness to assist her lifestyle, she had little reason to leave the house, much less her room. She spent her days watching videos on the internet and reading articles. If this was an uncommon occurrence, her parents might have done something. But with a child like Oriko on nearly every street in the country, what could be done? But her attachment to her computer would eventually lead to a promising development. Something she really enjoyed listening to were mix tracks made with software like fruity studio. She started top spend less time watching videos and more time making them. Her subscriber pool was small, but she got feedback on everything she put up. As her music got better, her subscriber count grew, and she had a better outlook on the world. But making frequent uploads was only going to get Oriko so far. She noticed the biggest surge of subscriptions came in when she changed things that weren;t related to her music. Her songs use to play while a loop of a fractal image played in the background, but she had started dressing up and appearing on video, which pushed her subscriptions from five thousand to twenty thousand in a single week. She made up an alternate identity and appeared as “Oros the Swift,” who was a magical girl ninja that sang along to her EDM music. Other teens in her neighborhood would join in as other characters, and Oros would go through arcs that were explored in song. Her parents no longer had to fund her lifestyle, as she was buying her own food, renting an apartment, and paying her help with what she made from her uploads. It didn’t hurt that her songs could also be downloaded from various stores, which helped her bottom line further. It was good, and Oriko probably would have gone on to be a successful yet unremarkable EDM artist if she stuck with it. But someone had to compare her to Jaden. Oriko didn’t really care about what some weeaboo rapper did, but he was the real deal. At the end of the day, Oros the swift was just Oriko in some makeup and a kimono. But Jaden was a real ninja. Her followers were loyal, but Jaden’s fans could post videos of several incidents where Jayden had been attacked by ninjas and managed to defend himself. It was stupid, petty internet drama where people were comparing apples to oranges. And Oriko took that personally. She sought out Sensei Hirokazu to begin her training. While the old bastard wasn’t known for his generosity, he was able to cut her a better deal than he had for Jaden. Only because Oriko was more polite compared to his last pupil and wasn’t an American. That didn’t mean it was cheap, as Oriko had to auction off some of her older props to cover the cost of her training. But she went through all the bullshit meditation and eventually had some ninja moves to call her own. But Oros the swift was more than a ninja, she was a magical girl. That meant that she would need magical artifacts. But after last time, Sensei Hirokazu had been pretty mute regarding magical artifacts, requiring Oriko to procure her own. Artifacts like Murakumo were few in number, and who really wanted something that could take over their own will anyway? It seemed like the real big brain strategy was just to collect a lot of smaller, weaker artifacts that nobody wanted. But there was still the question of how to actually get them. After watching some videos of “magical girl/boy accidents” online, the answer revealed itself. It seemed that most people who got their hands on weaker magical artifacts made the assumption that they were going to turn into nomads overnight, when in truth they were the same impulsive, weak people they were before. They just had some magical powers now. Naturally, that wasn’t the type of person who survived a confrontation with a kaiju, sea monster, or whatever was attacking Japan that second. She just had to be observant and show up after a few of these idiots got themselves killed. It worked like a charm. She still makes EDM tracks, but instead of songs exploring the fictional tale of Oros the Swift, they serve as mood music for viewing her very real exploits as a magical girl monster slayer. The power stone has little use to Oriko. Anything that powerful has to be exaggerated or have one hell of a curse that she wouldn’t want to tangle with. But in winning, she’ll have proved once and for all that Oros the Swift could not only kick Jaden’s ass, but the ass of every other nomad that attended the competition. Running on walls, jumping off walls, and attacking hard and fast is all part of what Oriko can do. But their different backgrounds, music choices, and artifacts lead to two vastly different fighters. Jaden’s strength and longer limbs give him a physical advantage, While Oriko’s stronger focus and numerous artifacts makes her more reliant on her mystical abilities. For her bread and butter abilities, she relies primarily on a nameless magical katana, her scroll of hammerspace, and the ability to transplace. The scroll of hammerspace is able to store items in an infinitely vast space that she can call to her hands or a portal during a fight. Her nameless katana is her daily driver for all of her sword slashing needs. She prefers to slash from her scabbard, and also learned how to create collapsing vacuums by cutting through the air itself. The blade’s reach is much further than the blade itself. Beyond that she has a stock of smoke bombs, vinyl disks, and her DJing equipment like her mix pad. She can imbue these items with her ki which gives them effective weapons against other nomads. Among her trove of more magical and dangerous items she has a scroll that contains over a hundred different beasts, a divining sword called Endless Eclipse, and a mask with a deadly curse.

SIGNATURE MOVES
"Don’t blink." [sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup]

■ Transform!
Oriko can switch between her normal form and Oros the Swift. This changes her outfit, arms her with all of her artifacts, and puts her under an identification protection spell. The identification protection spell makes it impossible for people to look at Oros the Swift and think she looks anything like Oriko, despite being the same person. The only way she can be exposed is when it’s the only logical explanation. IE: She transforms in front of someone or Oros walks out of an area that only Oriko was in.

■ Transplace
With some focus, Oriko can snap her fingers and swap places with her opponent. She can also swap places with any item that came from her Scroll of Hammerspace. Swapping with items is near instant while opponents take a bit longer. It has to do with the weight of what she’s trying to transplace, and is exhausting if done too frequently.

■ Scroll of Hammerspace - Store
Oriko can place her hand on an object and have it placed inside her hammerspace for later use. She can only absorb items this way if she can hold them in at least two hands, the item isn’t bolted down/ tied up/ held by or attached to someone else, and can’t be attuned to someone else’s ki like most nomad gear. The exception to these limitations are Oriko’s own ki infused gear.

■ Scroll of Hammerspace - Recall
Oriko waves her hand and conjures a small portal that launches a ki charged vinyl disk from her hammerspace. The longer she conjures, the higher the velocity of the item. Alternatively, she can fire any other item she’s used Scroll of Hammerspace - Store on.

■ Smoke Bomb, Bitch!
Oriko throws a smoke bomb at her feet that briefly obscures her position and can cause opponents that are too close to choke on the fumes.

■ Dive Kick
Oriko can perform a high speed dive into the air before throwing a kick, which can change her trajectory in a way that baffles scientists.

■ Scroll of Hammerspace - Home Run
Oriko gives herself a baseball cap and a bat to swing at her opponent. Works well as an anti-air or to start a juggle.

■ Boing Boing
It’s just wall bounce, I won’t lie.

■ Hentai Haven
Oriko performs a lunging grapple where she locks her thighs around her opponents head and, using her ninja training, summersaults backwards to slam her opponent’s head into the ground.

■ Wall Dash
Like Wallrun, but the name has a space now.

■ Drop The Bass
Oriko pulls out her mix pad and drops the bass so hard that her opponent (and hammerspace’d items) briefly feel an intense amount of gravity. Most nomads standing on the ground can resist the effect, but airborne ones will fall to the ground, and if they’re being juggled, they’ll slam into the ground with enough force to bounce into the air again.

■ Flash Blade
Oriko draws her sword with such speed that it can create a collapsing vacuum a predetermined distance away. It has a bass boosted sound effect so you know it hurts.

■ Chill Beats to Relax and Study to
Oriko pulls out her mix pad and plays a short loop. If she finishes, her attacks get extra lofi girl (cold) damage for a time.

SUPER MOVES
"I’m not done with you, get up!" [sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup]

■ Scroll of Beasts - Eviscerate
Oriko opens the Scroll of Beasts and attempts to wrap it around her opponent. If successful, they will be briefly trapped inside the scroll with several angry tigers, monkeys, goats, dragons, roosters, and other zodiac animals.

■ Flash Blade EX
Oriko dashes away, and the aria fills with collapsing vacuums as she draws her sword over and over again. As cool as bass boosted sound effects are you’ll want to lower your volume for this one.

■ Endless Eclipse - Divinate
Oriko draws her black sword and peers into its future seeing blade. If an attack comes her way, not only is she able to dodge it, but she can follow up with a decisive thrust from her sword. Endless Eclipse cannot be out of its shieth too long, less it drain all of Oriko’s magic.

■ Mask of the Wicked Concubine - Warpgasm
Oriko nudges her kitsune mask over her face and allows its horrific magic to take over her body. She hulks out as her body is constantly changed and stretched by the magic coursing through her body. She has all of her old moves, only now her limbs are both twice as long and capable of contorting and stretching in unnatural ways. Greatly increased strength and defense, but after ten seconds the mask starts to eat through her remaining vitality if she doesn’t remove it. Oriko also screams the entire time she’s wearing it. She can dish it out from nearly every range, but as soon as the fight comes to her, it’s time to start sweating. Nomad or not, there’s only so much punishment a diminutive girl can take before deciding it’s time to fall unconscious. Mask of the Wicked Concubine - Warpgasm is the closest thing she has to a quick fix in such situations. But ten seconds is not a long time, and wearing the mask much longer than that threatens to sap away what little vitality she has left. If she can’t finish the fight shortly after putting on the mask, she’s going to lose. Her parents also didn’t do her any favors doting on her the way they did. While she isn’t outwardly emotional, she is quite vain and can hold a grudge for the pettiest of things. Her pride makes her easy to manipulate and prevents her from allying with people she really should be. Thalia’s Framewerk has two additional primary weapons (for a total of five) and all of her weapon systems have a wider area of effect, deal damage one level higher than her weight class, and can be fired without line of sight or into the midst of allies without loss to accuracy, but with the chance of hitting her allies. In other words, no downsides. Illegal upgrades really are the best. She can power up her five weapons and use them all at once in an area where she absolutely does not want anything to live. Though there’s a 1d10 chance she could jam/damage one of her weapons by pushing them so hard, which increases by +1 the more frequently she uses this feature of RitD in a single battle. Clone: While Thalia pretends to be the original, the truth is that she was a test tube baby, cloned from the legendary pilot Thalia Alvoy. After a tragic accident involving the original, her parents cloned their most prized possession. Due to her innate high skill, She has one more Secondary System, and may operate her Framewerk as if its weight class was one level lower. But being a clone has created a lot of uncomfortable situations. A clone is not the original after all. All of her relationships are strained, especially those with her fellow pilots. She even has “flashbacks” from time to time. Though she especially dreads meeting her again. Genetically Engineered: Turns out the original Thalia was a genetically enhanced super soldier, with the genes of a fox spiced in. She has greatly enhanced reaction times and the physical strength and agility to make the most of it. This gives her access to an additional Secondary system and gives her the ability to use her chosen sidearms. Yes, her massive swords. Because she doesn’t have enough head problems, this also makes her more aggressive, further complicating missions and her relationships.
Perks:
[s]Enhanced[/s] No Uniform: If Thalia was going to be remade, it was only natural that she was going to need a uniform to matched her majesty. And majestic it is. Rather than some lame plug suit that some exhibitionist might strut around in, Thalia literally walks around half naked, as that accomplishes the same thing while also being easier to manage. Thalia’s flesh is already far more robust than those plug suits anyway, and keeps her at the peak of comfort. Some enhanced suits come with a video game, but Thalia’s lighter load out lets her carry around several swords, which are much more useful (and menacing) when dealing with her fellow pilots or amusing herself. Money: The Alvoy family has ties to old money, intermingling with the Rockerfellers, Zuckerbers, Musks, and Bezos of the modern age. In short, Thalia is rich, with plenty of credits to spare. Anything she comes in contact with that can be made better absolutely is. From the food she eats to the bed she sleeps in, it's all the finest quality. This includes her swords, which are made out of hardened Carbonox and have a quick-draw mechanism that makes swinging from the sheath similar to using a Framewerk Stake Driver. The kinetic swing is so fast and potent that the Carbonox blade heats up and cooks/melts away whatever it cut through, provided it gets stained with anything. And of course, no rich girl goes anywhere without some hired muscle at her side. Be it to protect her on and off missions or to manage her Framewerk's upgrades. Thalia is always accompanied by her android companions Bob, Tim, and Dave, which are modeled after a bunny, ferret, and owl respectively. Though she refers to them collectively as the three stooges. Additionally, money has allowed such a person with clear stability issues to be part of such an important project. If money can fix it, by god, there’s nothing her parents aren’t willing to spend it on for their daughter’s clone. [s]Memento: Woops, rolled this too many times.[/s]
Social:
Personality: The original Thalia was a confident, charismatic gal that could capture the hearts of humanity with a few well spoken words. Her beauty was worth fighting over, her wit admired, and her every achievement for mankind was cherished. This Thalia is constantly being measured up to that one, and it shows. Rather than cutely stuttering and buckling her knees like a classic tsundere, she’s more likely to react aggressively. If someone challenges her, they need to be taken down a peg. If someone feels sorry for her, they clearly think she’s weak and need to be avoided, or corrected. If she’s commanded to do something mid combat, it’s merely a suggestion. Who would tell the great Thalia Alvoy how to win a battle when she’s won so many by herself? Outright disrespecting her is something that needs to be dealt with swiftly and with extreme violence. Only admiration from her peers is allowed. Excellence is expected of her, failure makes her lesser than the original, and so all criticism needs to be directed at any other forces at work. Otherwise, well... Also she really likes eyes. Looking at them, drawing them, rolling them in her hand, licking them, and eating them. A cool party trick is to freeze them in ice cubes and use them in her drinks. Thalia also likes drinking as well. While the original had Oculolinctus as well this Thalia has taken it a lot further. Then again, given what happened to the old Thalia and why, this sudden "quirk" may have shown up as a result of trying to suppress her other urges. Background: For those gifted with reading comprehension, it’s probably become evident that Thalia is not the original, and that the original was something truly special. But what happened? How did such a gifted pilot die? As the case usually is, it started with love. While Thalia had a reputation as being something of a one woman army, the truth is that she had many dutiful mechanics that helped keep her Framewerk in order. Though none were as dutiful as Penny. Despite being a hardened killing machine, Thalia’s heart longed for something, and she found it in this cyborg mechanic. Aside from her love of Framewerks, there didn’t appear to be anything off about her. Penny wasn’t a bad pilot herself, and Thalia had come to rely on her in combat a few times. But like most couples, they were looking for a way to spice up their relationship, and decided to do something risky. The following event will forever be known in infamy as the Scorgasm Catastrophe. It was a simple game. They were to get inside their Framwerks and shoot explosives at each other. There was a score system and everything. They took turns lobbing explosive payloads at each other with the goal being to stand as close as they could to an explosion without getting hit by any debris. Initially they started out easy. Both Framewerks were stationary and it was more a game of chicken to see who would move first. But over the weeks the game became more dangerous, with attacks becoming less predictable and an increased incentive to move close enough for the shrapnel to graze their framewerks. No one knows exactly what happened. Either a payload was a little too hot, or Thalia misjudged a distance, but her framewerk was obliterated by one of Penny’s attacks. The hero of humanity didn’t die gloriously in battle, but as an unforced error of the two lover’s making. Naturally her parents were devastated, but there were plenty of heads promising to reverse this tragedy. And so Thalia was cloned. Everything was done to help the old Thalia catch up to the new one. Excessive school and training sessions, maturity boosters, live combat as soon as she could walk, whatever it took to get this cloned embryo up to where the original was. Nothing was too expensive, too disturbing, or too much to restore the life of Thalia Alvoy. It’s rumored that the real reason the cloned Thalia Alvoy was put on this new project isn’t because of her parent’s desire to see her reclaim past glories, but to keep her as far away from Penny as possible, who alegedly has a great interest in the clone. She’s had something of a psychotic break since the accident, believing herself to be a queen or something. She’s even dating the CEO of Covington industries, likely for her ties to Framewerk manufacturing. Missing People: Warm and caring Lothreen, the closest thing Thalia had to a true mother figure. She was one of the scientists working on Thalia, but allegedly she went missing a few months into the project. Power cord not pictured but present. Feather shown to emphasize the lightness of the frame.
Weight Class: Very Light, but not too light. Framewerk Type: Backliner (Damage) For B@B’s size, it hits with some pretty impressive force. Obviously there are larger artillery units that can lay down more impressive payloads, but B@B is a good skirmishes and duels. Her light frame and impressive arsenal make her excellent for hit and run tactics. Her breath of weapon systems means no target is truly safe. - Moves as fast as a Super Light Framewerk and has firepower equal to a Light model. Though at medium to long ranges, her weapons hit hard enough to compare to a medium sized unit.
Primary Weapon Systems:
Passively, all of B@B's weapon systems have a greater AoE effect thanks to some very illegal and very expensive weapon modifications. Arklight Thunder: B@B has a “power cord” that is capable of aiming and firing bolts of lightning. Very effective against energy shields, barriers, and electrical systems including ones found on a framewerk. Can also emit a nova of electricity to stun nearby targets for several combat rounds. Keep away from large bodies of water, like ponds or your mother’s tub. Twin Elemental Cannons: Puts the pop in these poptart-looking projectiles. Fires a pair of target-seeking-tarts (missiles) out the top of the toaster. Can be fired like artillery or directly at a target if B@B is floating sideways. Causes a chemical explosion that does significant strawberry (heat) and/or blueberry (cold) damage to biological and mechanical targets. [s]Stake Driver[/s] Power Plug: Despite being a back liner, B@B isn’t defenseless in close quarters. The end of the power plug is made out of solid Carbonox and can be flung around like a flail. It also has powerful electromagnets that can be activated to give her swings some real oomph, tripping her already ludicrous power output. When overclocked, the kinetic energy delivered by a swing is so powerful it can create a “swing arc” that can damage targets that are caught up in it. Slag Cannon: Along with the other toasty arments, Breakfast at Brittany’s can pop up some super heated tungsten to melt through even the heaviest of armors. It’s not for close quarters combat, but it can be fired much in the same way as her Elemental Cannons. She can even follow up a shot with another shot. Toast comes in pairs, after all. Moonbreaker Railgun: A high-powered long-range weapon is hidden behind the Framewerk’s dial. It’s the most discreet weapon B@B has, despite being among the most powerful. B@B can freely snipe with her Anti-Battleship Armor Piercing rounds, which more or less ignore any sort of armor plating and can even penetrate a planet. If her opponents are lined up right, she can hit multiple targets with a single shot.
Secondary Systems:
Automated Targeting System -CODENAME- Endless Eclipse: With five weapons to choose from, why limit yourself to only using one attack per turn? With automated targeting, B@B can line up more shots in a shorter amount of time, or allow her pilot to take evasive maneuvers while still shooting. All without relying on RitD. EE is advanced enough to get a lock on the slipperiest opponents and target weaknesses in the strongest armors. This allows B@B to lead shots perfectly with dumbfire weaponry (such as it's Railgun) and lock on to the weakest parts of a larger framewerk's armor. [s]Stargazer[/s] Nebula: Without legs, B@B relies on extremely powerful magnets harvested from super-dense star systems to move around. Exactly the sort of thing Thalia prefers, because it sounds dangerous. Nebula allows B@B to hover off the ground and move to and from locations at great speeds, as well as freely spinning and twisting in any direction it desires. The cockpit floats inside the center of the Framewerk, which prevents the pilot from getting dizzy when performing extreme maneuvers. Additionally, the magnets can be used to alter the course of incoming projectiles, should B@B’s speed prove to not be enough to completely avoid them. Space travel is also doubly fast. Henshin: Breakfast at Brittany’s can turn into a saucer. As in a plate with sunny side up eggs on it. It can fly around at remarkable speeds but only has access to two weapons. It’s Stake Driver (which now looks like a fork and knife) to attack things beside the saucer, and it’s Moonbreaker Railgun which it can fire directly below like an alien tractor beam of death. This gives her knowledge she couldn’t get on her own. The only other explanation is that she is a GMPC in a forum role playing game, but quite frankly that’s absurd. Trust me, her sword is just like a crystal ball. Grade: Diamond SPECIAL: Oros is acutely aware of events that have and will transpire in the RP, and possibly even other RPs. She’s also seen your character sheets, and wasn’t impressed.
FACTION:
Depraved
TRIVIA:
Like most depraved espers, there’s a lot of people who want Oros dead. It’s a reasonable sentiment, seeing as she openly claims to be serving a horror and doing what she can to summon them. Naturally, neither G.E.M.I.N.I. nor Maverick Alternative are okay with this, nor the freelancers they regularly employ for work. More powerful espers than her have been brought low by hunting parties, but her cunning makes her an elusive target to track. This would normally just be considered the ramblings of a mad woman or a joke in poor taste, but Oros came from the elemental chaos. No one knows who she was when she entered, but Oros the Mad is all that’s left of them now. While most depraved try to fade into obscurity, Oros has recently done something that makes no sense for someone with her motivations. Pax Septimus was ruled by a self proclaimed queen who saw fit to let the local monster population do whatever it desired. This is certainly a good thing if you’re trying to summon a horror, but Oros went and put a stop to that. The resulting power vacuum has drawn in the factions along with many freelance espers looking to stay busy. Oros is pretty jovial for a cultist, if a bit rude. It’s not uncommon for her to poke fun at whoever she’s talking to, and she has a reputation for being something of an instigator. Though she’ll casually talk with other espers even if they are there to kill her. Her body can morph partially or in whole to take their strength for herself. She can give herself extra limbs like a tail or a third arm, or replace limbs with entirely different appendages. Oros's reflexes and senses are passively bolstered beyond that of normal magical girls. Even disguised, she retains some of her senses and a bit of her strength. Oros's beast magic goes beyond that of most magi and can transcend mundane creatures. She is capable of transforming into monsters and using their powers for herself, though they are no stronger than what her beast specialization is capable of, and she can't replicate their spells. Only the creature's innate abilities can be replicated. She just needs to have seen a creature to copy it. She primarily uses it to create centralized gravity wells that pull her prey into an area, lock them down, or shove them about. Gravity magic is more of a utility to Oros, and seldom uses it to attack directly. She'd rather hold you in place and chop you up with her katana than "sans slam" her opponents to death. This also passively allows Oros to move with floaty grace and lift things she normally couldn't, even when disguised. Oros also possesses a rare utility for gravity girls called "space slipping." It's a counterspell that lets her "shift along the fourth dimension of the continuum to catch prey." That is to say if someone uses teleportation, dimensional shifting, or an equivalent, Oros can teleport/shift along with them. (+1 STR AND VIT)
Power:
Oros has the tentacle power that manifests itself as animal appendages. Her tentacles can be manipulated just like her own body, becoming snakes, eels, or even limbs. Hammer Space: (gold) Oros has access to an infinitely large space where she can instantly call things into her hands.
Oros has raided a shopping center and shoved everything she possibly could into her hammer space. This gives her access to virtually everything from house furnishings to tools to construction materials. This does not give Oros access to rare or specific items, like military grade technology, specialized software, or materials that clearly couldn't be purchased from a shopping center. Everything she has access to is purely civilian grade. Oros has also been granted a plethora of cages, alters, and knives from her patron. They can be made out of wood, steel, or crystal. The cages come in various sizes.

Perks:
Gifted: Oros has been alive a lot longer than most magical girls. She might be insane, but her most specialized abilities frustrate those who try to copy her. (+1 AGI)(+1 MAG) Elemental: Oros has honed herself into the perfect life form. She has backup facilities for all of her biological functions. Breathing, eating, sleeping, and even circulating blood are just some of the things that are optional for Oros. (+1 VIT) Bestial: Unlike most Monster girls, Oros has a very human appearance. The only exception being that her hair is coarse like the coat of a wild animal. It is impossible to tell her apart from a normal magical girl without touching her hair or using magical deviation. The exception is seeing her with her cursed weapon drawn, but that only ousts her as a DMG. (+2 AGI) Void touched: True predators can hunt their prey wherever they hide. Oros can shift between realities, parallel universes, or shells of worlds lost. This also includes the overcity and pocket dimensions like interdenominational homes, though Oros needs to have personally visited them or be near someone shifting into them to get the coordinates. (+1 LCK) Innate awareness: Oros is a hunter by nature. She has an innate awareness that draws her towards what sates her desires. This is usually food, waifus, and Beacon/Mint girls. This works so long as Oros doesn't get too specific. She can find Beacon girls if she's hunting for them, but she won't be drawn directly to Alicia if she's hunting her.(+1 LCK) Awareness (Emergency): Years of fighting and Oros's own keen senses have made her hyper alert to mundane details. (+ 3 VIT, +1 STR, -2 AGI) Second Specialization: Oros has gained the ability to hunt threats beyond her homeworld, and also play with gravity. Sentinel, Devour: These mutations come together to make Oros behave like an animal. Her main goals are to eat, hunt, and protect her "mate" whoever that happens to be. She's always a little on edge unless she's sating one or all of her desires. She despises long conversations with anyone but her mate and is more likely to act out the longer they carry on.
Fighting Style:
Oros is a versatile mid to close quarters fighter who prefers to fight her opponents with her katana. She primarily uses her magic to self-buff and lock down her prey. This makes her exceptional at chasing slippery targets and denying attacks on her more frail allies. Her balanced stat parameters enable Oros to adjust for the situation. To name everything she can do with her beast magic would require a lot of time and a very deranged individual. But to name a few things she can do, she can give herself night vision by swapping out her eyes with that of a cat or other nocturnal predator. On the more unorthodox side, she can make herself poisonous, spin silk webs, and pad her feet so that she's quieter when walking over snow. This is without talking about the monsters she's been able to observe. Gravity magic is expensive, which is why she only uses the basic utility abilities. gravity wells, pushes and pulls, with the occasional hold or weapon weight increase. It's what makes her nigh impossible to escape from and enables her to control the flow of a fight. even teleportation and shifting won't help you escape from Oros.
Stats (Untransformed):
STR: 4 (beast) AGI: 5 (body type)(gifted) VIT: 4 (beast) MAG: 4 (gifted) LCK: 3 Stats (Transformed): STR: 12 AGI: 12 VIT: 11 MAG: 10 LCK: 7

Base (4) Pool Fists VER Δ (+4 STR) Beast spec (+1 STR) Endless Eclipse (+1 STR) Gifted (+1 STR) Thicc skinned ( +1 STR) 2 copper + 1 silver coin ( +4 STR) Total (=16 STR) Base (4) Body shape and outfit (+2 AGI) Beast spec (+1 AGI) Bestial (+2 AGI) Thicc skinned ( -2 AGI) 1 copper + 2 silver coin ( +5 AGI) Total (=12 AGI) Base (4) Beast spec (+1 VIT) Endless Eclipse (+1 VIT) Elemental (+1 VIT) Numb (+1 VIT) Thicc skinned (+ 3 VIT) Total (=11 VIT) Base (4) Gravity Spec(+4 MAG) Gifted (+1 MAG) Mystic Artifact (+1 LCK) Total (=10 MAG) Base (4) Void touched (+1 LCK) Innate awareness (+1 LCK) Awareness (+1 LCK) Total (=7 LCK)
Personality:
It's hard to tell where Oros starts and her mental mutations end, speaking nothing of the delusions Aighorost hampered on her. She very much sees herself as an apex predator in the magical girl world, and has all the animistic desires that come with it. If you can't eat it, fight it, or lay with it, Oros isn't interested. She also tends to treat the world as a game. Death doesn't matter because everyone can respawn, destructible environments are part of the experience. Her views on life are very nihilistic, and believes that pursuing your own desires is the best use of anyone's time. Like any sandbox RPG. Oros is not good at first impressions. She's bitter, crass, and stubborn. She will awkwardly force sexual innuendos when she can, and uses the word shit liberally. Usually as a prefix. As in shit-sticks, or shit-for-brains. Put downs and insults tumble out of her smiling lips with ease, and she doesn't seem to care about how clever they are. She also talks about things that nobody fully understands, which makes her seem insane. But she does have positive attributes as well. While clearly not right in the head, she has a better understanding of her world than most and knows how people work. Oros is more intelligent than first impressions would have you believe, and is capable of being nice to people if it gets her what she wants or they do something to put her in a good mood. This goes double for her mate, who she will try extra hard to please. Though it should be noted that Oros picks mates who's goals coincide with her own.
History:
Oros's induction into the magical girl world is pretty standard. A puchuu turned her into a magical girl, and she fought for all that was just and right in the world. Magical girl life was great for a while. It's fun to slay monsters, and her patron always praised her. She got to work with other girls, fell in love, she had it all. But it wasn't meant to last. What got her to sign up with Aighorost was nothing short of an Emergency. Tragedy struck when the war between Beacon and Mint raged out of control. Her friends slain, either turning into full monsters or otherwise forced out of the cycle of rebirth. They kept pulling out bigger toys, until humanity's population dwindled to almost nothing. The monsters had to feed off of each other when humans became scarce. Everyone ignored her plight for an escape. Everyone but Aighorost. They gave Oros power, most importantly the ability to jump between dimensions. Now Oros had everything she needed to visit other worlds. Places where things weren't quite so shitty. It was like nothing happened. But then it would happen, and Oros would have to try again. Again and again and again and again. She wouldn't give up. Even if none of it was real, even if she had to reset the world a hundred times, she'd keep going until she created an outcome she liked.
Incantation: no u Extra: Rolls:Rolls She was originally going to be an ally, so her last 2 rolls are technically her "support table" roles, not that it matters too much. Years of hunts have honed her body, but her athletic prowess is very much in the realm of what a human could normally achieve. She can reliably hold off common ruffians, but she'll need to get creative to overcome foes with enhanced strength.

Endless Eclipse

A nigh-indestructible spear head that's as broad as her arm. The spear head sparkles like the night sky, but its twinkle is overpowered by sunlight. The spear itself is short (as long as she is tall) but is light and compact enough to be useful in a forest. While the spear head is strong, the shaft is made out of wood and isn't any stronger than a standard spear shaft. The spear's real special ability is to let it's wielder divine information. If they thirst, they can see the location of a pond. If they are hunting someone, they need only think their name to see their location. The visions that Endless Eclipse shows Luana are not accompanied by sound, and it can be difficult to discern something's location if Luana is not familiar with the area. As an example, she could easily see that a bandit hideout resides within a cave, but might have difficulty discerning where the cave was located if there weren't other hints to go by.

Druid Craft

Anyone who spends that much time in the wilderness is bound to learn how to control it. Luana has two primary uses for her druid craft. The first is that she can turn into any animal she has seen so long is it's no larger than a bear or smaller than a house cat. Any injury she sustains in an animal form will carry over to her real one when she turns back. She can also give herself small animal traits, such as gills for breathing underwater or light sensitive eyes for dark vision. She can only give herself one of these features at a time. The second aspect of her druid craft is the ability to manipulate plant growth. Vines can spiral out of control in seconds, and acorns can grow into fully fledged trees in minutes. While animal shapes are easy to maintain, plant growth requires quite a bit of concentration, especially if it's being used for more than a few seconds at a time. She does carry a few acorns and vine seeds on herself should she find herself out of the wilderness.

Survival

Luana knows her way around the wilderness. She knows what's safe to eat and what's poisonous, how to track animals, and the best plants to make antivenoms and salves out of. Even out of the forest, she usually carries a few vials to use in a pinch. But Luana is hardly an alchemist. Her antivenoms are good against most venomous attacks, but are too feeble to treat magical poisons. Salves and the like can stem bleeding and aid recovery, but won't instantly heal a wound.
History
Elves are content to live their entire lives in Lymensari forest, but most humans wouldn't dream of it. Ever since her parents told her about the betrayed god, she's had a desire to see an elf. Surely they looked more fantastic than any of those scary formorian fellows. Though at such a young age, she wasn't sure how to go about completing such a task. When you were only 6, no one took you too seriously. Sure, there were some boys her age that promised to show her some elves if she married them. Another claimed to be an elf in disguise. That was fascinating, but it was becoming more and more apparent that if Luana was going to see an elf, it was going to have to be something she did herself. Her desire to see elves shaped a lot of her childhood decisions. Luana spent a lot of time at the outfitters trying to understand how everything worked. What was essential for a trip or what made for the best hunting knife. Her parents refused to buy her anything that might help her run away from home, but they would buy her books that she liked. She read about all kinds of wildlife and plants. As she got older, her freedoms grew. Her knowledge about the local wildlife made her an asset during hunting expeditions. She insisted on being armed just like the guys, and trained with them extensively. When she wasn't training or hunting, she was practicing other skills. Most girls sewed clothes, but Luana was learning how to sew up wounds and make salves out of the local plant life. One day the hunting party got a bit too eager while chasing a boar. The frenzied hunters were unaware of how deep into the wood the boar had taken them. The trees were getting thick, but surely a wounded boar wouldn't be that much trouble. And they were right. But the forest was home to many creatures, most more dangerous than a common boar. What insued was a slaughter. The hunting spears did little to the creature's hide, and it was famished. The thick forest didn't impede its movement, and a single swing of its tail could break a tree, let alone the bones of the hunters. Everyone was running for their lives. Luana's thirst for adventure had been sated, and her only thought was that she had to survive. The hunting party split up, knowing that this creature was impossible to outrun. Better a few of them perish than all of them. Luana was not lucky enough to avoid the creature's gaze. She should have died. She was weaker than the other hunters and less experienced to boot. But be it luck or intervention, the creature was felled by a single stroke. A comet fell from the sky and split the creature's head in two. Though what appeared to be a comet had actually been a mighty spear. This was the first time Luana had set her eyes on Endless Eclipse. But what really caught her attention were the silhouettes that must have belonged to her saviors. They must have been elves, but she was too tired to move or talk. They moved deeper into the forest before she could recover. But the spear had been left for her. With the spear in her hands, Luana felt she had little to fear from the forest. She needed to find those elves, and was determined to remain until she saw them. She got no closer to finding the elves, but the spear revealed its origins to her in a series of dreams. It was an artifact that belonged to a god named Aigorost that resided among the stars. It was too weak to do much, but had been watching Luana for a while and decided to bestow its boon on her in her time of need. This emboldened her, and she had decided that she would not leave the forest before finding the elves. Before long she became a hermit. Her local village spread rumors about a wild spear maiden, but non suspected it could be Luana. She didn't need books anymore. Her spear could show her whatever she wanted to see. But it couldn't show her what those silhouettes were. After a few years, and out of the blue, Luana tried asking her spear for some direction. Just the vague request of where she needed to go. And the spear showed her a queen with hair as radiant as the sun. In truth, Luana had no desire to give up her search for those shades, but her spears answer had her interest piqued. She set out to find this queen on the same day. But she'd need to stop by the outfitters. She'd been wearing the same clothes for some time now. It even seems to obscure her eyes, which few people have actually seen. Like most Duodecim, she has good genes. The tinker is tall and well shaped, but lineage can only do so much. She likes to eat, and modern advancements can only keep you so thin with such a high calorie intake. She also tends to wear “fun” outfits that are too flamboyant to be seen on anyone else in high society. Easily the least Duodecim looking Duodecim. Personality: Lada is relatively open with people, or at least, she’s as open with her friends as she is with strangers. She doesn’t restrict herself and allows every facet of her eccentric personality to stand out. She enjoys eating, talking about technology, eating, talking about her inventions, and eating. She’ll really talk about anything so long as it’s not the Duodecim. She’s very much an extrovert and would rather pal around with a group of people than have an intimate discussion. In case her clothes weren’t an indication, Lada feels very little shame. She’ll gladly do a multitude of things for a smile and is having fun as long as everyone else is. Even when no one is having fun she’s having fun. Lada is not the type to try and upset anyone, though her emotional IQ is just low enough that she often doesn’t notice when she’s bothering someone. Though even Lada has her limits, and her personality flips when someone tries to mock her openly. In particular, she is not a fan of the nickname Oros, as it’s just a shortening of Oroboros. As aloof as she pretends to be, she can see that a dragon that consumes its own tail is a clear metaphor for her boundless appetite. Background: Lada Juno should have had everything. Her lineage was known for its powerful mages, and even by Durodecim standards her family was powerful and wealthy. All of this power had a cost, of course. As an only child, she was to play a pivotal role as the Juno family’s most powerful Ars Magus yet. Her father’s spouse was carefully selected to ensure their child would have the greatest chance of being the strongest ars magus to date. But Lada couldn’t be merely born into power. She was expected to study hard, had far fewer freedoms than others, and was tempered like a blacksmith’s steel. She was twelve when they finally tested her magical potency. It was not something that could be accurately tested even a year earlier, so her family had to wait over a decade to see the fruits of their labor. It was a day everyone had been waiting for, because everyone knew that an Ars Armgaus would soon be placed inside her body, and she would be the most powerful ars magus to ever live. Only they were wrong. Everyone was wrong. What should have been the fruit of humanity’s harvest was hollow and rotten. Of all the possible outcomes, Lada had absolutely no affinity for magic whatsoever. She would never cast a spell, never receive an ars armgaus, and never go on to become a great mage. She was shelved, like some failed experiment that didn’t yield the desired result. Her father had other brothers and sisters siring children, and one of their daughters could become Juno’s crown jewel. Her parents had more or less given up on her. She was a disappointment, and it was just as evident to her as it was everyone else. They had kept her inability to use magic a secret to save face, but greatly scaled back the tutoring Lada was getting. But while everything was falling away from Lada, the leash attached to her neck had also loosened. Her parents didn’t care if she wandered out into the city. They didn’t monitor what she eat or even cared how she spent her time. Foe someone who had no freedoms, suddenly having all the freedom she could ever want was liberating. She ate foods her parents would forbid her from eating, stayed out late, and got addicted to arcade games. But she never gave up studying. If anything, the extra freedom she was allowed gave her time to actually do something with everything she knew. She worked on experiments in her father’s shop and engineered many strange contraptions. She kept this up for five long years. After making a breakthrough with a few curious inventions, she found a way to artificially give herself magic. It wasn’t true magic of course, but it was good enough to fool the faculty at Nova Lux Academy. Finally her parents could be proud of her. They were the only ones who knew she wasn’t magic sensitive, but they didn’t know about her invention. But it didn’t matter, because Lada was now the proud owner of an ars armgaus, even if it didn’t do anything. So now Lada is the only one who carries her secret.
The Magical
Armgaus Name: Endless Onyx Eclipse Gladius: N/A, she imitates Ars Magus with nanomachines. Parma: N/A, she simulates a magical girl transformation by covering her body with nanomachines. This makes her body look silver, and Lada humbly molds her flesh to have better defined muscles. Her belly flab is moulded into six-pack abbs. Elementum: “Metal” Elementum Abilities: Lada’s nanomachine coating acts as armor against anything that comes at her. She’s also capable of creating simple weapons on the spot, such as a giant metal hammer. She can also have the nanomachines turn into a flying spike to impale distant targets. Her imagination and the number of nanomachines she has is the only real limit to her abilities. Additionally, all of her nanomachines are capable of absorbing nox and creating thin anti-nox barriers, making it possible to seal herself and others from nox contamination. She can also change the shine/gloss level of her nanomachines, creating a mirror-like reflection if she so wishes. This is how she’s able to look through her nanomachines (and hair) despite appearing to be completely covered.

Character Name: Oracle Morowa Reality Plenum of Origin: ChatGPT- The RP Gender/Sex: Female Race: Feykin Moth Birth Region: The Wandering Woods Appearance:

A rarity for most Feykin, Morowa has a form that is both corporeal and mostly human. She takes on the likeness of a moth over anything else in nature. Her clothes, while also moth themed, also closely resemble something an indigenous northern tribe in our world might wear. Save for the fine decorations her uniform is adorned with. Background: Moths do not live long lives, but they try to make them count. While Morowa was young, her parents joined an expedition to learn more about and stop the Abyssal Convergence. This left her in the care of her mentor and “temporary” parental figure who happened to be an oracle. Young Morowa had shown potential for reading the stars and moons, and Mr Oracle was one of her favorite people just below her parents. Because this isn’t a sheet for her parents, you probably know how this ends. The entire expedition was doomed when a temple caved in around their heads. No one survived, and the only reason anyone knows anything at all is because someone watched it happen from the outside and reported back to the Wandering Woods. The news came back to Morowa about a month after her parents had initially left, which was enough time for Morowa to grow from adolescence to a young adult and master her powers. With her newfound power (and a parting gift from Mr Oracle) she was able to confirm her parent’s death herself. It was at that moment that Morowa decided to dedicate the rest of her short life to figuring out how to stop the convergence from taking any more lives. All she’d have to do is wait for the three moons to wax full and use her powers. Then she’d learn everything. With her life being so short, she’d only have the chance to try once… Personality: Contrasting her bombastic counterparts in the Wandering Wood, Morowa is is calm and stoic. Morowa may have been a prankster in her youth, but her parent’s death and all that she has foreseen has made her a more mature person. Despite her life being so short, she has seen a plethora of things good and bad thanks to her gift. As a general rule, Morowa likes people. She doesn’t like to see anyone get hurt but also understands people better than most. Before she’s encountered you, she’s likely seen you in a vision or two and has already decided if you are worth her time. Though as firm as she may seem, the one thing that bothers her are things that she can’t truly understand. Something that she’s witnessed in her visions and can’t make heads or tails of is truly worrisome to her. Skills/Abilities: Feykin Moth Physiology- Feykin moths are believed to come into existence a long time ago when a Dreamweaver and Feykin were wed. The resulting Feykin Moths are quite potent magically, and are capable of harnessing an aspect of nature as well as meta aspects of the universe. For Morowa, this grants her the ability to channel wind magic. She can also divine things, with her powers getting stronger or weaker depending on the phases of the moon. Feykin moths also produce moth dust, which operates a bit like pixie dust and can be sprinkled on anyone. Feykin Moths tend to be a foot or two shorter than their human counterparts on average, and age substantially faster. A month to a human is about a decade to a Feykin Moth. Wandering Wood Affinity- While Morowa’s prankster days are behind her, she is wise to the tricks of others. Morowa is difficult to deceive or be blindsided, even when not using her divination magic. Equipment/Inventory: Endless Eclipse- The two black stones on her head. Helps her focus her divination magic and get the most out of her powers. The moon phases are still very important for her abilities. Staff of Grandmoths- two wands that once belonged to her parents that have been fused into a single staff. Allows Morowa to conjure intermediate level wind spells. Moth Dust- A bag of Morowa’s moth dust, collected and ready to be spread for flight. Goals/Objectives: Put an end to the convergence and enjoy life. Backstory: Dude she’s 3 months old. Her background should be enough.
