I Cannot Die - so long as the pyramid remains active, Bones cannot be killed by conventional means and any severed body parts are capable of reassembling.

Background:
During an ill-fated previous expedition to the pyramid, Bones - then known simply as Bo - was once a human adventurer of no particular skill, talent or renown. Simply a man with a sword trying to make his way in the world.

Being of such middling pedigree, the only reason why he would embark on such a dangerous mission into the darkest depths of the Fae See was due to the presence of those he travelled with. Powerful mages, peerless warriors and seasoned explorers, they were the foremost heroes of their time and Bo had the fortune of calling them his friends.

As fate would have it however, even such a mighty force was not enough to conquer the pyramid and now all serve as its undead guardians. All except for one.

Before the party's arrival to the site of their eventual doom, Bo had been placed under a spell of protection by one of his companions to make up for his lack of skill and experience. It worked after a fashion, though only after his death.

Although animated by the pyramid's necromantic energies, Bo's mind and soul remains his own due to the protection spell's effects. Now he seeks to free the souls of his friends, even if doing so results in the end of his very own unlife.
