While he follows most rules and orders given to him by superiors, if he does question their efficiency or effectiveness, will decide to alter or outright ignore them. Achieving them in a manner Thryvh considers more favorable. On some occasions, turning a blind eye towards minor discretions if he thought them understandable or justified. With a strong attachment to his men, he’s the kind of clone that will not leave a comrade behind. His bond is so deep with them, that he encourages the same kind of independence in them all the while maintaining professionalism. Although akin to most Clones, Thryvh has a strong dedication to the Republic and its people, wanting only the best for it. However, the death of Chancellor Palpatine and the forceful takeover of the Senate by the Jedi, has created a huge crack in his loyalty. Having never directly served under a Jedi, Thryvh’s suspicion of them only skyrocketed, treating them no differently than citizens should he encounter any during his patrols. Initially deployed in the cleaner streets of Galactic City early in the war, his company and his platoon’s first month had nothing of note. Shortly after that, a week into their second month, CL-3131 and CC-2003 were instrumental in discovering a budding separatist conspiracy. Ending in a raid in the lower levels of Coruscant and a gunfight with a small-time separatist aligned crime ring. With the success of the raid, 3131 and 2003 were recommended for the ARC training program by their superior officer. After accomplishing their training, they were given the names of “Thryvh” and “Gritt”, respectively. Upon their return to Coruscant, the newly named Captain “Gritt” would be placed in charge of Firaxan Company and appointed “Thryvh” as the leader of his 3rd Platoon. With their previous incursion into Coruscant lower levels taken into account, Firaxan Company was deployed there as both Rapid Response and Riot Control units, to strengthen CSF presence. Within the first few months, the newly formed company dealt with minor riots, getting their experience in that aspect. But with the lower levels being progressively more unruly, Firaxan Company moved lower and lower, focusing on troublesome crime syndicates, two-bit gangsters, CIS infiltrators/terrorists. They ensured that any unsavory element that could cause problems for the Republic roaming the lower levels, would always be on their toes at all times. By the time of 21 BBY, Firaxan Company would be so deep, the unit had trouble in resupplying and communication with other Coruscant Guard units. So much so, that on the rare occasion members of the unit would surface, they shocked the more up-to-date shocktroopers with their Phase I clone armor and unique armor patterns. Despite this, his platoon would continue to perform direct-action and intelligence gathering operations in the lower levels until his guardsmen and him were finally rotated out by another platoon from the company. Not much time for respite, they were only given a few days rest prior to being made to handle protests and riots. By the middle of 20 BBY, they were again rotated out of that task and transferred to VIP escorts. Three months before the end of 20 BBY, Thryvh and his platoon would be tasked in escorting and protecting Republic Intelligence Associate Deputy Director Ela Nistrol to a covert meeting on Cholganna with a supposed CIS turncoat. Unbeknownst to them, this meeting was just a pretense in capturing a Republic Intelligence official. Whilst the initial landing went smooth, a firefight would erupt when clone trooper Zip sensed something was amiss and began firing at the hidden battle droids. The chaos lasted for several hours, the end result was minimal casualties for the clones and the destruction of a platoon’s worth of B2 battle droids and a squad of BX commando droids, prior to being picked up by a Republic Transport. While the platoon was recovering from its wounds, the grateful ADD Nistrol advocated for the recruitment of both Thryvh and Zip to the Director’s special operations project, the Shadow Troopers. By the start of 19 BBY, the clone lieutenant would find himself leading a platoon of Shadow Troopers working with Republic Intelligence. Undeterred by this change, he would adapt quick and used his experiences to accomplish covert operations. Two noteworthy missions being their support of a small 501st detachment in charge of recovering a crystal in Mygeeto, preventing the separatist in the AO from figuring out the “elite”’ legion’s intentions through the use of sabotage and placing jammers in the area. Second mission, he led his platoon in a sabotage mission on Sullust, to destroy an experimental droid factory. While the latter mission was considered a success, the exfiltration of the platoon was compromised, with only Thryvh and three of his troopers surviving. After him and the remaining members of the platoon got some rest and healing, the survivors re-organized into a squad, they were called back to Coruscant by ADD Nistrol for their squad to investigate the rumors of a traitorous element skulking around.
