I have my own twist on vampires I like to use a lot in my RP's, but there isn't much lore to them so the setting is easy to pick up! Just know the other isn't easy to look at. [b]On me:[/b] - EEST - Semi-lit to lit. Third person, present tense. - English is my second language so I'm prone to making mistakes, especially so with such a long break from RPing. I rigorously spellcheck everything that isn't an int. check though. - Activity changes a lot, tend to be at my most active at the start - Prone to ghosting. As such, also ok with ghosting. - That said, LOVE plotting and chatting OOC and doing so will def lessen the chance of my worst habit rearing its ugly head. Started as a Jeeves and Wooster pastiche, more of their own thing these days. Please note that both men are older, mid-40's at the youngest, and I would like to play against a character of similar age. Edwin is also just straight up missing his nose, but I also think he's ugly in a cute way? Maybe that's a no-go for you. I also have a solo plot for good Gérard that I won't get into here, but I don't mind you asking about it if you're curious. [b]PLOTS[/b] Oh yes, let's get into it! Vampire romance is the name of the game here. Other key terms: Love triangles, eventual poly. A nice balance of fluff and drama. Bittersweet, leaning on the sweet. Finding ones happiness despite the difficult circumstances. [b]Plot 1 (MxMxM) [/b] The Game has ended! The long-hidden vampiric society is slowly but surely integrating into the mortal world. As more laws specific to vampires are placed and enthrallment becomes illegal, vampires begin to seek out alternative options to blood consumption. One of these alternatives welcomes you into the lives of Edwin and Gérard St. Lawrence -- though what first seems like a simple professional arrangement turns out to be far more complex than what you might have originally imagined. Setting: Urban fantasy, modern day. True Blood meets Clan Nosferatu. Themes: Social integration and alienation, troubling consequences of well-meaning laws, old men adapting to the new age. Cute cuddly romance with an unemotive stupid man with passionate heart, and a very lovable idiot. You: Looking for older characters for this one, thank you! Your character can be a walking disaster, but I'd prefer them to be a walking disaster who's had a steady job. Vampires also welcome. - [b]Plot 2 (MxM(xM), open to a love triangle) [/b] The Game is yet to end, and Edwin and Gérard have been forced to rejoin it, if only for a season. The reclusive pair receives an unexpected gift mere months before the start of Bonding Season. That gift is you. For a thrall you're a diamond in the rough, but play your cards right and you'll live forever -- as someone's Favoured thrall to be sure, but surely that beats starving in the streets? Setting: Bridgerton-esque Regency thing, except make it vampires. Still sticking with the secret vampire society thing here, but I'm willing to reconsider. Themes: Fantastic caste system, slavery by another name. Vampire politics, corrupt systems you can't escape and the importance of consent. You: Are you a thrall abandoned by your previous master, a member of a well-known lineage or fresh blood brought in from the streets? In any case, Edwin and Gérard are going to have some very complex feelings about letting you go. Don't mind if you want to go younger here, early to late 20's - Regency-era ideas of old maids (and the thrall equivalent) was very different. Humans only here.
