Goodbye. There'd been no change in the last three days since Roland had been in Pax Septimus. With one hand he pulled the phone away from his ear, glaring at the screen as the call disconnected, and with the other he shoved another spoonful of off-brand Cheerios into his mouth. Though he hadn't been back for long he was living in a populated apartment complex (against his will or not), and visiting familiar crummy take out places that had managed to stand the test of time, but this little morning ritual still made him feel a little... isolated. Which meant it was about time to shake that feeling off and get a move on. With a slightly exaggerated sigh Roland pushed up from the tiny table. This was a kind-of-sort-of-but-not-really vacation for him, but after all this time he still found it hard to sleep in, as much as he might want to. Already dressed for the day, he passed a hand over his belt (it'd been a while since he dropped the accompanying poses... for the most part) and transformed. This hadn't changed so far either, his alternate form's outfit always reverted back to a sleek black one piece swimsuit no matter what alterations he tried to make. Yesterday he'd even attempted to swap the one piece for something a little sexier just to lean into the phenomenon that had gripped the city, but even that hadn't lasted. Briefly, Roland raised his phone up at an angle and checked himself in the device's smooth, dark reflection. Ah, well, this wasn't too bad either. It really wasn't that much more of a hassle to come and go in his esper form, even as beach-ready as it was, because everyone else was stuck in the same circumstances. Even factoring in the whole peaceful beach spell going on it was weird that a bunch of espers had all been more or less forced under one roof in the first place, but that was exactly why he was transformed in the first place. The whole secret identity thing. Though to be honest he didn't think there was any real risk of being recognized, better safe than sorry. Still, it was just one of those things. Those little things that were easy to forget, and yet sure to pile up. It wasn't much longer until Roland stepped in the hall as Jack, wrenching the stupid sticky door closed behind her. A monitor hung on the wall lit up to broadcast that shark guy's latest message, though Jack ignored it for the most part - at least until the ladies in the hall with her struck up a conversation. Jack hadn't planned to go to the beach either, but she would have to look into it eventually. Might as well move it up on the schedule, especially because she still didn't know much about these disappearances mentioned. Gold eyes glanced at Alice. "You worried about being spirited away yourself or something? Wherever you end up it's not like you'll get hurt or die anyway, right?" At least until this was all reversed. It couldn't last forever, but for the time being it really did seem impossible to hurt others. Jack had checked. She turned to Bionca then, looping an arm around the red head's shoulders as a smile split her face. "But sure, we can stick together, and I could use some fun. Maybe even put this swimsuit to use!"
