As you can see this is a game that would be based on the Persona series though with a more horror twist. Though the only things coming from the official Persona setting is Igor and the arcana. As for what the party would be facing they would be contending against the fears of humanity and their representations. In the real world this could take the form of relics, creatures or those 'blessed' by the fear. Then they will descend into the heart of the nightmares to face the physical manifestations of the fear. These fears are not just something you fight though, they are also a sort of 'dark' arcana. Been playing with the idea of the party's persona's being tied to the fears of the user with the second stage persona (or what ever they're call) being achieved by overcoming their fears and finding their true arcana. 

Oh and for reasons I hope are kind of obvious no one will be a trickster with multiple personas.
